Went to see Elisabeth das Musical the day before yesterday (3.7.)

Truth be told - I was pleasantly surprised, ESPECIALLY by Lukas' Tod! His death is very much an entity-not-person and it helped sweeten the bitter fact that it is still Schönbrunn (and we all know how Schönbrunn Elisabeth is...)

He now holds his fair place as my favourite Tod voice- and acting-wise (because godDAMN, call to me with that soft, resonant voice of yours and I'll be happy to die or kill someone for you)

Lucheni was also very very fun. An absolute goblin, very iconic in his silliness and definitely has some short aggression. Although I am a bit disappointed that he didn't show off his vocals as much as he should have, because whenever he did - they were very, very solid!

My favourite part was probably, and unexpectedly, Nur kein Genieren. With the lighting and Frau Wolf's improvised second voice it was almost... Hypnotic?

All and all - not bad! Even if there were some technical difficulties halfway through Prolog. Definitely deserves critique, but it seems Schönbrunn is bettering itself slowly

Today CANVIL’s EP “Четыре, сыро” was released, with the track “Олечка”. A snippet of this track went viral on TikTok, and I’m the one who’s been waiting for the full release.

What is the track about? As short as I can explain: on March 1 a law was passed in Russia banning the “promotion” of narcotics. But here any mention is treated as propaganda. This track is ironic, a protest against that law. It plays with the names of medicines/remedies, with a subtle hint at “misuse.”

I also tried to translate the lyrics into English, but soon realized it’s a thankless job: every line needs an explanation. Still, if many people end up liking this track and there are requests for a full translation, I’ll finish it.

SO just started and finished Star Wars: The Acolyt's first episode. And as I've done for other shows. A quick review.

I love it so far, and as a fan of Star Wars, and knower of its lore, so far it doesn't break it.

I've heard people complain that the costumes look like they were made by the CW, and I just don't see it.

Hell this show is doing a better job to depict Jedi then most Star Wars movies, in not drawing a Lightsaber until absolutely needed, like fighting another Force User, like Mace Windu said Jedi are peace keepers. Not soldiers.

I'll talk again about this show, when the season is finished.

I finished watching "Bocchi the Rock!"! despite the boring beginning, I liked the anime, and I laughed heartily at the jokes. In the end, I still got attached to Hitori, I will look forward to the second season.

So... I just watched "Encanto" and is an 8/10 (no spoilers!)

IS NOT BAD!

The animation was amazing, so were the songs, and the characters.

If you watch it you're gonna like it.

But... the resolution let me... a little disappointed. And this comes from a Latin-American. I... have seen first hand what inter-generational trauma does to a family (both in my nuclear and expanded family). So, I know that it takes a lot of work to heal...

That's why the last part of the Third Act didn't quite make it for me.

In my opinion, "Coco" and "Brave" did it better in that aspect.

I finished this one a while ago but forgot about it 😅.

From what I remember, it was decent, even if I hated Henry at the beginning. But in the end, we find out that he's an insecure kid with an attitude. What I liked about him was his soft side, the fact that he likes flowers and knows their meaning. Oh, and when he swears in french while having sex with the MC.

Speaking of him, I really like characters like him. From what I remember, he kinda had an attitude and I liked how he was provoking Henry. At the same time, I hated how he immediately accused him of sabotaging what he baked for the competition without thinking much. But at the same time, Henry wasn't that good either in this situation, even if it turns out it wasn't him. Also, but this is just my opinion, the MC is a power bottom.

What I also remember is that there was this guy who was Henry's ex. He wasn't bad and I guess, in the end, he accepted that his ex was over him.

The parents were nicer than I thought. They were very accepting and supportive of their son's sexuality and it's quite nice to see that.

Really sad that they were only 3 illustrations. I saw that in a lot of the newer stories too and maybe I'm picky, but I need more, please.

Okay I’m a bit late but to my defense it had been a hectic few days, I had a comeback👀 anyway..

Episode 16 of uwma, made me sob like crazy and to think the climax will be next episode. Ugh I’m not sure how to survive this🥺

We did find out who came up with Pharm. Korn came up with it and to see his brother keep to it, made my heart cry🥺💜

I love the bond these three brothers shared and I can’t help but feel sad for the loss they had to experience because of that one faithful moment🥺

We see Pharm finding out about Korn. (The way Fluke acts out the pain of Intouch, is amazing and I got nothing more than praise for Fluke!)

The way Dean immediately came running to Pharm when he found out. I can’t even imagine the agony he must’ve been feeling at that moment.

When Pharm grabs the gun and walks towards Intouch and Korns house, my hearts started to beat faster, I felt stressed because I knew this was going to happen. ( I do have to say that in the novel he doesn’t have a gun with him👀) but the pain he was portraying when he walked up to the apartment and when he was in it, ugh all those flashback we got throughout this episode did not help as well.

Then Dean finds Pharm and isn’t aware that Intouch has taken over. The pain on Deans face is overwhelming

and then Pharm/Intouch turns thing around by putting the gun against his chin.

“What if I choose to leave you first?”

My heart stopped and I literally screamed “NOOOO” at the computer. This made me cry so hard, because I felt their pain, I felt Intouch’s pain, the way he felt betrayed by his one true love. I felt everything🥺

Next werk is going to be hell for the first two episodes I think. I just have to say that Fluke and Ohm are amazing actors and I think they have such great chemistry. The way they can make you feel the pain of the characters or the joy, it’s just amazing. One big emotional rollercoaster 🥺🥰
