7. Who sweats the small stuff?

Despite his cool & calm demeanor, Harry Hart is a worrier. He worries about things being perfect, he worries about making the right choices, he worries about Eggsy. Harry will put his entire heart and soul into something as small as making dinner for Eggsy because he wants it to be perfect for him. The boy has had a rough life, and Harry feels obligated to make things the best they can be for him…even if that thing is the movie they watch on the couch on a Friday night.

16. Who’s scared of thunderstorms?

It doesn’t happen often, but when a particularly nasty thunderstorm rolls through the Mews, Eggsy finds himself huddled under the blankets, trying to talk himself down from the fear that’s creeping up his spine. Growing up in a house where loud noises were usually followed by a fist to the face, it’s a fear he hasn’t been able to shake. Waking up to the walls shaking and the sound of thunder vibrating in his bones is something that he’s decided he’ll never get used to. It immediately puts up his defenses and gets his blood pumping, and by the time he realizes that there isn’t any imminent danger, his body is on high alert and he can’t come down from the high.

Luckily for him, Harry is aware of this and will wrap himself protectively around Eggsy, making soothing noises into his hair until his heart stops pumping out of his chest. They don’t talk about it, because Harry knows Eggsy is embarrassed by his irrational fear, but Harry also knows that Eggsy appreciates the comfort, especially when he takes Harry’s hand into his and kisses his calloused knuckles before falling back asleep.

31. Who is more affectionate?

Eggsy is showy. He can’t help himself, in all circumstances, but nothing makes him peacock more than expressing his affections towards Harry. Whether they’re at home, reporting to the mansion, or showing up at the tailor shop, Eggsy always makes it a point to loop his arm around Harry’s narrow waist and place a kiss against the soft skin of his neck. He also loves to grab Harry’s hand during a meeting, causing him to flush just above his collar, which secretly drives Eggsy crazy.

At home, however, Harry puts down all of his professional walls and showers Eggsy with soft kisses and hugs from behind. He whispers sweet ramblings into Eggsy’s ear, making Eggsy blush, which he isn’t used to. Harry will worship Eggsy from top to bottom, making it a point to tell Eggsy everything he loves about each and every freckle on his body, about what the rings of green in Eggsy’s eyes remind him of, about why he loves the knobs of Eggsy’s knees as he gently presses a kiss to each one.

Sure, Eggsy may be a show-off, but Harry shows off to the person it counts the most to.

50. Who is the hopeless romantic?

After decades of having to suppress who he really is, Harry has taken a new lease on romance. He has no qualms about making Eggsy feel like the most important person in the room. He will leave him handwritten notes–either a quick I love you on a Post-It, to pages-long letters when he’s away on a mission (and yes, he’ll spray them with one spritz of cologne, just to drive Eggsy a little nuts). On Eggsy’s birthday, he’ll make his favorite dish and put a candle on everything on Eggsy’s plate. At night he makes it a point to place a hot water bottle under the covers on Eggsy’s side of the bed, because he knows how much he hates getting into a cold bed. When they’re sitting on the couch–Harry reading a novel while Eggsy mindlessly flips through Netflix–Harry will unconsciously rub Eggsy’s feet with his free hand, because at this point it’s second nature.

Of course, Eggsy is romantic, too, but Harry has years to make up for, and it’s so easy when he loves someone as much as he loves his boy.
