Was thinking about my transidentity and just realized that, to nobody's surprise, my egg was already cracking when I was in Primary school.

Here are a few examples of cracks in the egg :

Refusing to wear anything pink and only ever wearing blue because "Pink is for girls and Blue is for boys."

Hating dresses and spending my time dressed like all the other boys

Playing with the guys who allowed me to and trying to impress the girls like they did

Wanting "Boy shoes" (that’s what my mom called them)

And, finally, just now realising that all the guys I had a "crush" on in Primary school were not love, but pure gender envy

I think my egg cracked last night/today. There's just so many clues that I honestly can't believe it took me this long to see them. I've wanted to be a woman for as long as I can remember. I can even remember a few times when I prayed that I would wake up in a different body. This realization has come so suddenly it feels like I got hit by a bus. At the same time, I have butterflies thinking about this, I'm really excited at the prospect, and kind of a lot terrified. Please I need somebody to talk to about this
