More beans in my AU!!!! This time suggested by my fellow Smurf discord friends!!

A bit about DJ and Melody:

It took a bit, but I made a drawing of Mother-Willow AU Vexy. The design may change, but I'm pretty glad on how it turned out. (Neck might be a little long though)

I wanted to keep elements from her original design while also adding some elements from the lost village movie. Something I also noticed was that Vexy's hair didn't change color in The Smurfs 2, and I have a working theory on that. I think it has something to do with Vexy and Hackus not being changed by Papa Smurf in hat movie, it was Gargamel. So, I gave Vexy's hair a blueish tint to it and gave her the cream colored shoes and cap. Some context about this Vexy:

• While Vexy still has a lot of her personality from the Smurf 2 movie, she is more open about herself and doesn't cause trouble out o maliciousness.

• She's quite protective of her newfound family.

• The scars on her body are from before meeting Willow, but after leaving Gargamel's hovel. Two are from the plants, one's from the river, and the burn scar on her face is from her first encounters with dragonflies (Hackus accidentally took an egg). Basically her scars are from her time in the forbidden forest without any guide, map, or anything but her brother.

• Her favorite smurfs to hangout with are Melody and Meteorite, since they both share her musical taste. Plus Meteorite shares an aesthetic similar to Vexy. But Vexy does like to poke fun at Storm sometimes, but the two are pretty close. Storm even helps Vexy with her archery.

• She knows a bit about magic from her time with Gargamel, hence why she helps her mom with natural magic, whether it be with gathering ingredients or preparing them.

• I kinda want her chosen weapon to be a dagger that she keeps on her belt.

• It took her a couple days to start trusting dragonflies, but has grown very fond of dragonfly riding. She even occasionally challenges Storm to a race now an then.

• I chose to put a hydrangea flower on her hat since it symbolizes family, same for Hackus.

Well, this is what I have for now, Hackus is up next. So far, based on he sketch I have in my sketchbook, I might like his design more than Vexy's. Once again, I hope this isn't too much.

The Love Life Of Harmony Cornett, Humanverse!

1/2: Growing up alongside his older, more talented cousin Smooth Campana was never really easy. Harmony has always been a hopeless romantic, and despite his lack of musical talents, is a sweet guy. Unfortunately for him, the girls and guys always seemed to prefer Smooth, and Smooth pretty much encouraged it. He LOVED the attention, and showing up his poor cousin. No wonder Harmony has never really liked him.

3: Jump forwards some years and young adult Harmony thinks he’s found love! He met a nice young lady named Melody during a party. She likes music, he likes music, what could go wrong? Well it turns out Harmony’s ‘love’ for music didn’t quite match Melody’s expectations … she acknowledges he’s a nice dude, and certainly a nicer person than Smooth, but she thinks they’re, hm. Incompatible (insert the start of ‘Love Is Deaf As Well As Blind’)

4: Speaking of LIDAWAB, Extract from it! What’s this? Someone ELSE likes Harmony??

5: I’ve finally figured out what Smooth’s issue is. It’s not that he GENUINELY likes Jokey – at least, not at first. Smooth’s just wrapped up in his glory days back when whenever Harmony would show interest in someone, Smooth would snatch them away. He wants to prove he still has that power as the older, more talented ‘better looking’ cousin but Jokey’s not falling for it. Smooth might be a better musician but he’s an asshole, and not in a funny way. Jokey likes Harmony because he makes him laugh, and Smooth cannot stand this. He pretends to be all suave on the surface but I think it’s insecurity, which turns into desperation in trying to ‘win over’ Jokey. It’s not gonna happen, but Smooth’s in some weird mental power play now.

6: Jokey unlocks a new super power: official dad jokes.

7: After spending so many years in contracts, Mercator and Harmony come to regard each other as friends these days, contracts aside. That being said Mercator IS a demon so, by nature, he’s mischievous.

A brOTP I have with said character: Melody + my semi-OC Composer, because they're both musicians who are not connected to the rock band.

A random headcanon: I don't have any.

General Opinion over said character: literally just a smurf version of her voice actor. also she has no connections with any other character.
