Smurf girls' beach day.

When Archie's younger brother got married, Archie was happy for him - no really, good on Pal for having a stable love life /lh But. When Pal broke the news that he was moving out - which Archie should have seen coming, it was still an adjustment. Archie got it, they weren't Smurflings anymore and truthfully living with your sibling can drive you crazy but Archie hates having a double mushroom to himself - unlike Pal, Archie's an extrovert and loves company. Sure he can go to the dining hall to eat meals with other smurfs and very occasionally go over to Pal and Clover's shroom to hang out but Pal's got a life outside his bro now and a Smurfling on the way. Archie misses having a player 2 andsomeone he can go and annoy for no reason and stay up as late as he likes with cuz his bed is only a room away. Waking up in silence is so. Lonely.

So Archie makes a decision. A horrible decision really /ref

Skelly has hated living alone equally as much if not MORE so. He spent YEARS alone in his cave, and hates sleeping in the dark because he's scared he's going to wake back up in it. Skelly spends as much time as he possibly can outside his own shroom - its not even really decorated it legit looks like an IKEA model home he uses it to sleep and clean that's about it. But when Archie sheepishly asks if he wants to take over Pal's old room Skelly is the happiest undead corpse in the world. I mean living with ANY of the other Smurfs would have been a great help to his issues but he struck platinum here.

And you know, sure, there's an adjustment period. Lots of weird little habits you don't know your friend has till you live with them. Skelly's accidental lack of regard for personal space or property gets worse /lh Archie leaves his stuff absolutely EVERYWHERE and its kinda annoying especially when it's carbon dating equipment.

But it's also fun. Skelly finally feels happy enough to decorate his room. Archie can go into said room and throw a pillow at him any time he likes cuz there's someone there to annoy. It's nice to have a shroommate.

It does NOT help the villagers suspicions nor SmurfSkeleton's fanfiction habits but that's.
