Hey snzblr! It’s been a while, I know, I’m so sorry 🥲🥲

My life has been one crazy event after another, and I know I haven’t been online lately, much less posting, but I swear I’ve been spending quite literally every waking moment that I have working on FLUttering Hearts, and later today I’ll have a bunch of preview updates to post for everyone interested~

Let's say your S.O. has horrible allergies grass pollen tree pollen dust and throw in even Ragweed and they take allergy medicine that kinda eliviates some of the sneezing and sniffling itchy runny nose. And let's say to kinda make things in your favor would your S.O. s allergy medicine kinda disapear mysteriously for a few days if you Know what I mean or not ?

I get what you're saying, although I'm not sure if this is in response to my earlier post about favorite snz tropes for my text adventure game. If that's the case, the MC doesn't have a significant other. Maybe I should clarify: the MC of the game is not themself a snzfucker. We, the audience, are meant to enjoy their interactions with their sneezy companions, but they are completely innocent in their intentions. I mentioned previously that the game will have no adult content, which means the MC will not get aroused by their encounters.

(I also want to note that I use gender-neutral pronouns for the MC because they are never physically described in order for the reader to imagine them in any way they choose.)

There is a character in the game with terrible allergies: Kendrick, the gardener. Since it's a medieval-style fantasy I hadn't thought to have allergy medicine be available, but it is fantasy so perhaps there's a magical remedy that he has run out of or forgotten. He's kind of a himbo XD

If the question is directed towards my own personal taste, I think I would be too worried about my partner being miserable to really enjoy it. The caretaking aspect of the kink has never been my fancy. I've actually been accused of being a poor caretaker in the past because of how avoidant I am of germs ^.^; And bodily fluids skeeve me out, so mess is a big nah from me.

If my partner were to voluntarily miss their meds in order to be sneezy for me, that's a different story. Even if we role play it being accidental, there's still consent there. To me, consent is very important with this kink. If my partner is uncomfortable, I cannot take pleasure from them. Fictional characters and wavs are one thing, but if a person I love is legitimately miserable, I don't get off on that. (imo, wavs have their own sort of consent, since often they are recorded specifically to be consumed by the kink community.)

This has turned into a kind of personal ramble, so I'm going to cut it there, but that was certainly a thought provoking question!

Sorry for not posting as much as I was! I promise, I’ve been working on a snz project though!

Although I’m still in the art phase so it will still take a bit of time to finish, but….

Soon, I will have a Sneeze Dating Simulator that’ll be free to anyone interested in playing, taking place in an AU where none of our characters are already in relationships, that includes the option to date one of five of our boys! (If it does well, I’m planning to make a female one afterward!)

A Preface:

As an Earth born human, even at a very young age you had always been jealous of the other children in your class as most of them grew into their shifter abilities. It didn’t quite seem fair that everyone else could do amazing things just by existing, and all you could ever do was sit and watch in awe.

That is, until a deep dive of the internet landed you on a rather… sketchy looking website that described a university that specialized in Magik, claiming to be able to teach even the most basic human. Although, the university was in a realm called Hiraeth, which you had never heard of before. The website claimed a very long, extensive waitlist for their classes, and it felt like the opportunity of a lifetime was ripped from your fingers.

Until an ad at the bottom of the page caught your eye. The university was in DIRE need of a Nursing Assistant, and if you got the position, your tuition was included.

Hey, you took Health class in high school, right? You got this. Easy Peasy.

You almost couldn’t believe it when you got a call back from the university the very next day, stating you had gotten the position and your classes started next week.

Throughout the game, you play as an assistant to the Head Nurse (Meeko….), helping her with students who come in sick or injured, while you also juggle your magik classes and unrealistic attractiveness (and sneeziness…) of your surrounding peers that all band together to help you study and pass your final exam. However, what you don’t take into account is the entire reason that the university was so desperate to fill their nursing position.

During exam season every year, a specific flu virus strain that’s only seen in Hiraeth wipes out more than half of the student population, and you’re their first line of defense.

Hoping it sounds like something people would be interested in playing, cause I’ve already spent SO MUCH time on it 😂

I am looking for people willing to have their sneezes featured in my game, FLUttering Hearts!

I just recently found out YouTube doesn’t have DMs anymore (I know, like seven years too late?) and the sneezers I was going to ask require me to publicly comment, so I’d rather just hopefully find what I need from the snzblr community, if possible!

I may be a little picky when it comes to specific character sneezes just to make sure they fit the vision, but I will need a bunch of random filler sneezes too throughout the game so anyone willing to have their sneezes featured in my game, shoot me a message!

If you’d rather stay anonymous without credit, I can definitely do that, but otherwise you’ll have credit nested in the credit page of my game 🖤🖤🖤

hey so feel free to ignore this but i was wondering if you have any idea about how long the game will take to make? i just have absolutely no concept. like will it be months? a year? or is that the sort of thing that takes multiple years? sorry im just curious and completely clueless

Hey there Nonny! Sorry it’s taken so long to answer this, I wasn’t ignoring you I promise!

I’ve honestly been working on my game non stop 😈

I don’t have a set time frame as this is my first game I’ve attempted to make and I’m learning a lot as I go. Since Kezzi’s been busy with her life and everything, I’m also writing the script 100% on my own, as well as all of the art and game interface and everything. But don’t worry, it shouldn’t take a whole year!

If things keep going as well as they have been, I’m giving an estimate of the end of the year being the latest, but it may be sooner than that!

As a sneak peak, here’s a look at Remi’s pre sneeze sprite, his sneeze sprite, and one of the snz clips used for him in the game 🖤 ( got permission to use in my game from sneezer 🖤)

This is the current state of my WIP sneezy text adventure game. I'm building it in a program called Twine, which has been perfect for this kind of thing. Each square represents a passage that's been written. I did a lot of work on it in the first week when I started, and then I kind of fell off of it, so I'm trying to motivate myself to work on it consistently again.

The routes are labeled Z, K, and V based on who the subject of that route is: Zayne, Kendrick, and Vincent. I wrote Kendrick's route in the Gardens first, and had thought it to be complete, but then I ended up having a lot more fun with writing Zayne's route in the Library. As a result, the beginning section of Zayne's route is way longer than Kendrick's, so now I'm thinking I need to go back and add more content to Kendrick's route once I'm fully finished with Zayne's.

Vincent's route is largely unwritten, but you will need to play through both Zayne and Kendrick's routes to unlock Vincent's, so I want to write his last.

I wish that I had more artistic skill, because it would be cool to turn this script into a visual novel once it's written. Unfortunately my character art is only pretty good at best, and I have no talent for backgrounds at all. Maybe someday I'll get someone to collaborate.

First, though, I need to get the damn thing written.
