I am pretty open to your ideas. Although I am mostly a fan of Nash/Frost, I am curious what other ideas you might have.

Snowells Week Day 5: Blue - The Wedding Veil AU (1/3)

"In all of her years living in Central City, the one thing Caitlin that would always be sure of, was its ability to constantly surprise her at every turn; even if her day to day life was filled with meta humans and world ending situations, there were times when she sought the company of herself every now and then - though she was never far from her sisters - it helped to have their own guilty pleasures. And so, when she found herself standing in front of a tiny yet charming antique store in Windsor Heights, Caitlin didn't think twice before stepping foot inside.

What she didn't realize as the bell jingled announcing her entrance was it seemed as if something had drawn her to the shop; after all it couldn't have been nothing more than a hole-in-the-wall and she'd walked the streets of Windsor Heights before and never noticed it until now. Still, Caitlin thought nothing of that as she wandered through the carpeted floors, already thinking of what she might buy for Frost and Khione. And then, she saw it - a beautiful lace veil that sat in a corner of the shop, simple and yet alluring in a way that Caitlin couldn't stop herself from walking over to admire it.

"Ah, I see that the veil has caught your attention" How long had she been standing there that Caitlin didn't notice when an elderly woman came up to her and spoke, almost startling her.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there-" Caitlin began, as she turned around to face the speaker.

She was perhaps in her seventies, with silver hair that was tied into a bun and held with the most beautiful snowflake pin Caitlin had seen; for a moment, she thought that the old lady reminded of her grandmother - but it had been many years since Grandma Snow had passed.

"That's quite alright my dear, everyone finds themselves transfixed by the beauty of the Wedding Veil."

"I'm not- I'm not really in the market for a veil." Caitlin said; she hadn't thought of marriage in the years since Ronnie.

"Well, that may be true, but you see, this isn't just an ordinary veil; there's a legend that says whoever is in possession of this veil will find true love."

Caitlin shook her head, as much of a romantic as she was, she didn't think such a thing as a 'magical true love veil' existed.

"Perhaps if you tried it as a sort of experiment," The owner - clearly she had to be, since there was no one else around - started to say, "if the veil doesn't work then you can return it back to me."

"Are you loaning the veil to me? Oh no, no I surely couldn't-"

"I insist my dear. Indulge an old woman in her whimsical fantasy won't you? It's been far too long since I've had someone around."

Caitlin didn't know what to say to that, but she met the other woman's gaze and once again thought about Grandma Snow; perhaps that was why in the end, she found herself agreeing to the deal. Within minutes, Caitlin was now the owner of one wedding veil - draped in a protective cover, hanging from her arm - and as she bid farewell to the lady... she didn't notice when she walked into a figure standing just outside the store.

"Ma cherie, are you alright- Caitlin?" A familiar voice made her glance up to see just who it was that had caught her in his arms.

"Sherloque?"

Snowells Week Day 6: Detective Partners Iris West-Allen hired a private investigator Caitlin Snow, to find out if her husband, Barry, was cheating on her. Barry Allen has hired detective Sherloque Wells to find out who is trying to kill him. An unforeseen situation confronts the two detectives, causing both to suspect each other of "dirty" work. Caitlin believed that Wells was covering up for Barry's adventures, and Sherloque himself believes that Snow was sent by someone who wants to destroy Allen. Everything changes when a West-Allen couple is found murdered in their home. Two detectives have to team up to find out who killed their clients

Just a head’s up for my Snowells Week peeps but, for some reason, the Snowellsweek2022 tag isn’t showing up consistently for me. 😬 (Sometimes the only entries I see are from last year, despite the fact I’m looking for 2022. Then my fic finally popped in. Then it was GONE again. UGH.)
