Sure, I am willing to believe Jon does actually love Dany. The signs are there. But after his avoidance of her post Targ-reveal and his refusal to say it back when she confessed her love, I'm still pissed. I'm glad some are looking at the bright side and saying he really does love her but we deserved more out of their relationship. The trailer for ep5 shows Dany broken and listless. She's never needed support more than she needs it RIGHT NOW and imo Jon did NOT give it, at least not the way I would have expected him to. I can't think of many people who are bigger Jonerys shippers than myself but I can't forgive the way they're writing them in canon rn. This is not the sweet Jon I know.
