aerion maegor baelor type of oedipus complex or daeron aemond maekar type of oedipus complex
Isn't it interesting that despite being an angel, Aziraphale actually "manipulates" people more than Crowley?
The miracles we've seen Crowley perform mostly impact the environment (making it rain so nina and maggie will kiss, unlocking the doors for them, etc) but Aziraphale literally made everyone at his party talk like bridgerton lmao
It's almost like... goodness can be used for bad too...
I’m going to need 5-7 business days to recover.
And hundres of rewatches. My Polin heart is so so so full.
They’re just so cute… I can’t handle them… two sides of the same coin… rivals and equals… two opposing forces with the some of the same goals, but different approaches and means of making them happen.
Thinking about later that night when Hunter and Cyare are settling in and Cyare is just thinking about how sweet Crosshair is with her babies and she suddenly has the overwhelming urge to find him a partner and she’s got to talk it out with Hunter. XD
—
She’s nestled against Hunter’s chest, her head falling back into his shoulder as he dutifully soothes away the ache, rubbing circles into her swollen belly while at the same time pressing warm, open-mouthed kisses along her neck and shoulders; all the places that have her melting into him.
“Better?” he murmurs against her skin.
She’s irrevocably at peace, having achieved the highest level possible for someone eight months pregnant.
“Much,” she breathes, settling back against him with only warm thoughts pervading. He reads her like an open book.
“Whatcha thinkin’?”
He’s in his own little paradise too, behind her, doting over his unborn child, rich hands cresting longingly over her swell. He’s always his most settled when he’s feeling for baby.
“Just thinking about a certain sniper Uncle. He’s so good with the girls.” Her pining is thick in the air, and she pauses to let it settle in order to get the full effect. “We need to find Crosshair a companion.”
Hunter chuckles noncommittally. “I’m not sure he’s ready for that.”
Cyare cranes her neck to look back at him, wearing the most solemn expression he’s ever seen. “Is anyone ever truly ready? And don’t say you,” she wags a finger in his face. “We met at the most inopportune time.”
“Yet here we are, having our second baby.”
Cyare hums. “You’re too ambitious for your own good.”
“You don’t seem to mind it.”
“Getting off topic, Sarge,” she flicks his forehead, and sighs. “All of the boys are wonderful with them but with Crosshair it’s just… I don’t know… it’s different,” she searches. Her hands creep their way into Hunter’s. “He’s so protective and nurturing in a way I recognize in someone else.”
Hunter laughs, more incredulous this time. “Crosshair and I are very different.”
“But you both share the same core instincts, just in ways individual to you. I see it because I have my own, as a mother.”
Hunter thinks on that. “You think Crosshair will ever be a Buir one day?”
“I don’t know; it’s hard to say,” she clicks her tongue. “I think a lot would have to happen, first. But he would be a wonderful Buir. I tell him all the time.” Cyare chuckles to herself. “I don’t think he believes me. Or wants to believe me.”
“Cross is bashful when he wants to be.”
“Entirely self-assured, I say. He knows he’s good. But, regardless,” she intertwines their fingers. “Whatever path he chooses, more than anything I just want him to be happy.”
Hunter pulls her close, voice cracking against the shell of her ear. “Me too.”
say what would you think Los Cynder's reaction be if she met some dragon who dose not know who she and dose not know all the bad things she has done?
honestly, i have to imagine she'd be thankful to some degree. the pervasive pressure of constantly knowing that everyone knows what youve done, whether its thru any fault of your own or not, is probably just awful. it adds such a layer of fear and anxiety to any social interaction that probably makes it awkward at best and unbearable at worst.
we all know its not technically cynder's fault, but we know that characters in universe still have bad reactions to seeing her and interacting with her. i feel like if someone were to not genuinely know who she was, the ability to start from scratch with anyone would be such a massive relief. and yet, that layer of anxiety probably comes back in the form of wondering if they'll ever find out, if she'll have to tell them, if they'll change their mind about her and turn on her. it would be such a balancing act of emotions that would probably be really difficult to navigate, and it'd been so hard to get to know anyone in a genuine manner without going into her past.
had the series continued and had any interest in developing cynder and how she dealt with trauma or how the world learned to forgive her, i feel like this could be a really interesting route to take to explore how she'd have to learn to socialize in a world that already has somewhat of a bias against her. sadly, its probably more up to fan theory and discussion than anything seeing as how a reboot for TLOS doesn't seem to be coming. fun to talk about though!
I am legitimately losing my mind over how good the sound direction is in this show. Keep an ear on it next time you watch an episode.
