inspired by this tumblr post

zoey accidentally grazing rumi's arm with her shinkal and apologizing profusely, asking her over and over if shes okay and rumi assures her she's fine with a smile, while completely covering her wound with her hand, trying to hide her patterns from the other two. she pretends shes fine and says it was just a graze, nothing to worry about

but then they go back home and rumi goes to her room and shuts the door behind her and finally takes her hand away and the wound....wont stop bleeding

shes glad that despite being a half-demon, the honmoon weapon didnt kill or dispel her from a simple graze, but now she has a new problem

its not a big enough or deep enough wound to need stitches, but when it wont stop bleeding, she stitches it up anyway and wraps bandages over it

it does heal, but very egregiously slowly. too slowly and it hurts

so now, not only does she still need to hide her patterns from her girls, she also has to hide this wound that is healing way too slowly for their sped up honmoon healing

rumi tries to avoid her girls, but well, theyre in the same kpop group with the same/similar schedules and they live together, so thats, uh, not exactly easy

about a week after the incident, rumi is up early and attempts to grab something from a kitchen shelf with her still-injured arm. call it hubris. the pain makes her flinch and the dish slips from her hand and crashes onto the floor

and ofc, rumi naturally puts a hand over her still-painful wound, right as mira walks in
