This bullshit of people screwing with people’s delivery food orders because they don’t tip or don’t tip “well enough” is so extremely fucked up. What is wrong with people.

Look, I think we all understand being made about not being paid well - but you are getting mad at the wrong people. You are taking your frustration out on the wrong people. You should be trying to get the delivery company you are working for to pay you better, not screw over people just trying to order some dinner!

I have never gotten delivery much, because of extreme paranoia about things like this, and now people are really actually doing it. And in the times I have gotten delivery, I know my tipping has varied greatly. Anywhere from $0 to $15, depending on what I can afford! Not trying to be rude to people, but because delivery was literally the only way I was going to be able to eat that night and unfortunately all I could afford was the food itself. And I know I’m not the only one like that! I know some people are just being cheap assholes, but some are just poor and trying to feed themselves in anyway they can.

Also, I know my opinion on tipping has been changed since learning that it’s really just more American bullshit to put the pressure on the people instead of the company that should just be paying their employees well enough. But like, do more people need to learn this? Do people really not get that they are hurting and acting out at the wrong people? I just don’t get it. People (Americans) are really horrible sometimes.

I'm honestly seconds from a full mental break

I'm super stressed and anxious right now and have baracaded myself in my room because my parents are threatening to throw everything in my room away if I don't get everything packed up by the end of today.

We're moving house and I don't deal well with change so that stressed me out, add in the fact this time of year is awful for me due to several family deaths, my depression gets worse around this time, I have the awful luck of being ill and hormonal from time of the month.

Add in the fact that my ability to sleep has been impacted by all this and you can tell how well I've been sleeping.

Due to this I fell asleep most of yesterday while my family had gone out and when they got back they shouted at me.

This morning I had a migraine so I laid in bed with a hand over my eyes to stop the worst of it, I might have drifted off for maybe an hour which is nothing especially considering it was around 10/11 am.

Yeah, my parents didn't think so, they proceeded to swear and shout at me, threatening to throw everything in my room away if I hadn't packed it all up by the end of the day, including three blankets which have a very very strong sentimental value to me and I've had them since I was a baby. I can't sleep without them and they're my go to when I need to calm myself down from a panic attack or breakdown.

The threat of them being thrown away has almost pushed me to breaking point which I have steadily been getting closer to this whole time due to general stress and anxiety over everything else.

I don't know what to do or how to deal with this situation other than sit barricaded in my room sobbing.

If they go through with their threat I'm likely to fully break and I don't know what that will fully mean but it's probably not going to be pretty. 😭😱🤮💀☠️
