Been thinking of nnghhhh…. Chubby boy Link. Like after the Calamity he just settles with Zelda and chonks up a bit because he’s safe and she’s safe and because he can.

All that cooking he does finally gets to him and maybe he cooks for the village because he enjoys cooking so much. It’s not always good food but the village enjoys hearing his stories and they appreciate all that Link has done. The village kids especially cling to him when he whips out a cool sword to show them or when he’s making Zelda’s favourite cake. The kids always taste test, and Link does too, and he’s just fluffy around the middle and Zelda doesn’t seem to mind. She kisses his tummy, every new stretch mark, every scar and she loves him just as much as she always has. She loves it when he’s proud of a meal he’s cooked, or a sculpture he carved. She’s proud of everything he does. So what if he’s gained weight? He’s still beautiful and he’s still the same kind person she knew him to be. He still has the appetite of the boy she met before the calamity and sometimes she has to tell him to slow down, to enjoy his meal. “You’re okay, take your time. We have so much of it now~.” She’ll kiss his forehead and help him clean up and when it’s finally time for bed she’ll wrap her arms around his middle, spooning him and keeping him safe like he did to her all those years ago.
