So I always thought Link was pretty much a badass in Botw when in one of the memories it showed us that he fought an endless army of Guardians singlehandedly in his efforts to protect Zelda, to the point the Master Sword ended being damaged from the constant use, before eventually succumbing to his wounds and collapsing.
Turns out in Zelda's Tears of the Kingdom voice memories, Link had actually done a lot more than that when he was the only Champion to remain when the Calamity razed Hyrule, and had killed the other Champions.
The guy was going around saving as many lives as possible, reducing the amount of casualties by a significant margin, and lead people to places where they could find shelter and hide from Guardians, while he went of to fight them. Here I thought many of the survivors survived due to luck, when it turns Link's actions is what saved them and many others.
It's kind of sad one hundred years later, Hyrule blamed him for the heavy losses, when he ended up being the very reason why so many of them survived.
Her Knight
The lack of human emotion shown in botw hurts my heart, I keep comparing Link’s facial expressions to those in Skyward Sword. The sky child was so wholesome and happy and the wild child is just straight up depressed.
Compared to botw…
In Skyward Sword, Link’s whole face is used to convey emotions and thoughts, the use of his eyebrows is very important in conveying these facial emotions. In BotW Link’s lack of eyebrow action makes his face seem very stone like and he conveys little emotion. I understand that the tone of this Link is very different then the tone of Skyward Sword’s. link in botw has carried the burden of the master sword and protecting a princess he knows nothing about, where as in Skyward Sword Link is fighting to save his best friend/partner. These two things are very different. BotW Link never fails to break my heart, he’s so worn out and sad.

yo no way this made it onto Zelda Heritage Posts
Posting this alone instead of with other doodles cuz I don’t want those innocent doodles to be lost with this HDKSBSK anyways. Midna is a little clueless at times, and doesn’t understand the cultural differences between the twilight realm and Ordon lol.

我家的林薩娃娃有衣服穿了!
他們腿有點粗,但褲子OK可以穿。 鞋子要硬塞進去,算是……穿得下吧…… 帽子意想不到完全沒問題耶~~
this is kinda old. it’s from the first day of linktober. anyways….revali 😇 fly high
I love when games write in explanations for you dying and I wish TP would have gone harder with Midna pulling you out of your bullshit shenanigans.
*SPOILERS FOR THE TOTK DRAGON QUEST*
I drew this as an excuse to draw Zelda in her new dress and then that never happened. ALSO THANK YOU @katydoodles FOR DOING THE BACKGROUNDS <3
