Full Moon Greetings from the loading dock of my new studio.
Yesterday was National Tap Dance Day but I am still moving slow dragging myself out of my general posting hiatus.... You may or may not know that tap and percussion was my main 'bread & butter' for quite a few years, from NYC back to DC, through art school and the early years of motherhood. It was my life, along with making art and playing music, and it will forever be a deeply integral part of who I am. I am grateful to carry this uniquely American art form and for all those who came into my life because of a shared love.
So yeah - new studio! I have moved out of my Takoma Park studio suite in the interest of being closer to home and being able to make art more often, and I found a spot in a friend's artist warehouse 5 minutes from home which is much more affordable as well.
I'm excited to have found a women-owned business, @fullfillery to take over the TP space & continue the loving vibe there that was passed on to me. If you're local, go check out their store when they open in June!
There have been big changes happening, internally & externally, so thank you for bearing with me as life is "under construction" figuratively and now literally... Those who have been wondering about soundbaths and Moon Circles, etc., soundbaths are now back at Eaton Wellness Thursdays 7-8, DM for virtual option, limited # of in-person spots available. Working out how to continue Moon Circles... 1:1 sessions are open in the healing tent in my backyard, on-location, as well as @eaton.dc.
I've been quiet, but very busy behind the scenes. Lots more announcements and more details to come....
Sending you all so much love & peace.
