A lone soldier enters the war shrine.
I really wanted to draw one of the war shrines before the characters find one in the novel + I wanted to draw a younger version of Sohelia (from when she was on campaign).

My beautiful daughters!
Asra’s Daughter!
Young:
The Chillest Baby. Rarely fusses.
Hair grabber, though. So big on yanking hair.
Magic in the cradle. Just little whispy glowing orbs in the dark. Scared the hell out of Celeste the first time she walked in and saw that in the middle of the night.
Early talker. Early walker. Early reader.
Little Miss Fix It. Tries to undercut mama and baba from the jump. When they can't calm Vira down, she's happy to step in.
Bossy boots. Leads sister around by the nose.
Not scared of anything.
Remember baby Asra? Baby Helia is worse. Sneaky and quick.
Muriel spends a lot of time laughing at Asra because he's created his own little menace to society.
She doesn't know a stranger. Will talk to anyone about anything. No filter.
Just like baba, will eat anything. Not picky at all
Adult:
She wanted to move out when she was like, twelve. Managed to hang out until she was 18, then Asra moved her into the shop. Vira stayed home for another few years but couldn't stand being away from her.
5'3. Big, white fluffy hair. If she didn't have her mother's nose, freckles and eye shape, she'd be a little clone of Asra.
She's a wanderer. Loves travelling. Sometimes with Asra, but usually by herself.
Now that Asra's kid is out there alone, he's like, "oh, now I get why you hated this so much, Celeste."
Will just be gone on a whim. Missing for weeks.
Just when everyone starts to panic, they'll hear someone break into the cabin in the middle of the night and raid the cupboards.
Sitting at the kitchen table all night to hear about her adventures.
Takes over at the shop for Celeste. Works with Asra.
Solid connection with the Arcana. Easily moves between reality and their realms.
“And that’s how your father found your mum again” Adam smiled. He was sat at his kitchen table with sohelia, reading through a lore book. The lore was based on the elementals so naturally sof had started asking questions about her mother and father. Adam figures she was old enough now to be told the proper story.
“He really spent thousands of years like that?” Sohelia questioned, a frown on her features.
Adam nodded to her and leaned back in his chair “your father is perhaps the most loyal, defiant warrior I’ve ever met. He never gave up on saving your mother” he explained, smiling down at his granddaughter.
“Do you really think I’ll get to meet him one day?” She asked, carefully tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Adam nodded vigorously “I have no doubt of that sweetheart” he assured her. “I can’t tell you when... but I truly believe he will find his way home again”
Sohelia hummed in respsone and glanced at her phone “I should get going. I have fencing lessons with Nero today” she smiled, grabbing her bag from under the table.
Adam chuckled softly and ruffled his hair “say hi for me ok? And kick his butt” he grinned.
Sohelia laughed at the comment and kissed Adams cheek “see you next week grandpa”
