Like he’s gone through so much, suffered through loss after loss, tried to be the best star he could for his planets when he was struggling

And what do his planets do the second he starts to spiral? What do the ones who he’d given so much love to do when it gets too much for Sun to handle and he starts to crumble?

They start a revolution against him

Like just imagine how he must feel when the Rogues start attacking—BUT THEN HE SEES HIS OWN PLANETS ARE ON THEIR SIDE. THEYRE ON THE SIDE OF THE ONES THAT WANT TO DESTROY HIM

Oooksjgsksgslsjl I’m so ill like Sun’s ready to fight and he’s powering up a super charged solar flare-

Only to freeze and strangle down the power once he realizes his own planets are in that group. The group that hates his kind and is waging war on him—his planets chose to side with them.

After everything he did, it still wasn’t enough. He was always the beast in their eyes. He was never worthy of their love—just being a STAR was too much for them. He couldn’t change how he was born and yet they all still hated him for it.

And then like like like when Sunny doesn’t stop them, they continue marching further into the system. Keep in mind that the Rogues are fully expecting to face a ruthless tyrannical leader that’s a monster. The planets of our system all know what the Sun is capable of doing, have literally FELT it themselves in his gravity and solar flares.

So none of them expected Sun to start breaking down in quiet, hitching sobs, everything he tried so hard to hold up, suddenly crashing down all at once

And the layers of the roaring, monstrous beast get stripped away, revealing the small and terrified child star underneath…
