As some of you may know, I am a game design student in college
I would love to present to you one of my recent projects, an absolute classic that goes by many names, a paper fortune teller. I've spent the last few weeks doing my best to mimic the tactile experience digitally by using a controller
Please check out the project on itch.io https://damien-mcpuffpuff.itch.io/paper-fortune-teller
Welcome to When the Moon Fell! A survival horror game currently in prototype stage. Survive each night against alien creatures called the "Pitch" and spend each day scavenging nearby neighborhoods for resources to survive the next night. Progression will be story driven with each night getting increasingly more difficult to survive.
(Overall progress video of the prototype, with some recent updates missing)
Light is your primary ally in the fight against the Pitch, manage your power at night to ward off intrusions and keep your sanity in good order. Should the creatures get through use your modified flashlight to eliminate most of them, just make sure to keep it charged!
(Being developed in Unreal Engine 5)
Hi! I'm Gloomy.
I'm a solo indie game developer, and I am starting from scratch. By that I mean: I don't know what I'm doing.
I'll be learning to program, how to use game engines, how to make assets—everything, from nothing. And this blog will record it all.
Like most beginners, I have a big idea and no clue how to make it happen, but that's what I'm doing here. I'm figuring it out. This blog is more for me than anybody else, but if you want to, come along with me! The road is long, but the final product is worth it.
Cheers.
Stuff I did during the weekend.
Wanted to do something like this before I work on the proper tutorial zone.
Hello!! I am writing a muslim character for my psychological horror visual novel Trustfallen. I personally am white and non muslim, so i am asking for help from muslims to avoid accidentally writing an offensive or hurtful character, and just generally hopefully learning better how to write her. I have done and am consistently doing research, but would like to know if there are any general things to avoid in her writing or anything i should try to implement. I also have a question that i have spent hours trying to find an answer on, but everything is giving me different responses, is music considered haram? The majority of articles say yes, but when looking at threads and posts from muslims they say no. Also below the line is the sketch of her design along with some basic character informaton, please tell me if anything is wrong, offensive or needs to be fixed. I am trying my best to show diversity while not being offensive or poorly portraying characters.
This is one of the three main protagonists in Trustfallen, her name is Asmira, she is 17 and Pakistani, as well as lesbian.
Local mob boss retiree Zyne Del Bosque adopts a child and tells her to commit crimes
