Hi! Considering a reversed scenario in which Jackie survives the wilderness and Shauna doesn't, how would you picture Jackie's character development?
Really hard to imagine this scenario personally because I genuinely think Jackie would have killed herself if Shauna had died out there. Shauna was her reason, its why she gives up the moment she finds out Shauna betrayed her. Only scenario is which Jackie doesn't kill herself is if Shauna dies giving birth and the baby survives, in which case I do think Jackie would live for him if she thought it was what Shauna would want, which would make for a really interesting dynamic since I think there would also be a lingering resentment towards the baby as well.
Probably would have put her even more at odds with Lottie and aligned her with Tai which is also interesting. Tai and Jackie always felt like a bomb waiting to go off, but actually if Tai developed some kind of respect for Jackie's abilities, they could work well as a team. Obviously Van hates Jackie, but I think seeing her in the wake of Shauna's death might reframe Jackie's decision to save Shauna after the crash and leave Van behind. I think we could have ended up with two opposed factions a lot sooner.
anyone of the guard. who's dropping the sofa? who's catching it? who took the photo without stopping them (Nile, probably)?
(Joe & Booker; the Philippines; 2045; Cause of Death: you've heard of the steel chair...)
can you imagine the mess it would have been if everyone's wounds healed like a mortal person's? so either
they heal just as quickly, but have to watch out for broken bones etc. bc they'd heal crooked if the bone isn't straightened
or they heal as quick as before, so they get shot, they gotta take the bullet out and patch it up, they get a cut and have to wait for it to close, they break a bone and can't go on missions for months
like. this would probably make them much more careful
it would suck dying in a gruesome way in that second scenario, bc that would be So Fucking Painful to have your guts hanging out for like.. weeks at a time, but not dying from your wounds. the first one would also suck bc theyd probably be constantly re-setting bones bc how fast they healed

Jack: So, *gestures to the ruins of the coffee machine* Jack: who broke it? *Silence* Jack: I'm not mad, I just wanna know. Mel: I did. I broke- Jack: No, no, you didn't. Shen? Shen: Don't look at me. Look at Ellis. Ellis: What? I didn't break it. Shen: Huh. That's weird. How'd you even know it was broken? Ellis: Because it's sitting right in front of us, and it's broken. Shen: Suspicious. Ellis: No, it's not-! Whitaker: If it matters - probably not - Trinity was the last one to use it. Santos: Liar! I don't even drink that crap! Whitaker: Oh, yeah? Then what were you doing in the break room earlier? Santos: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles, you know it, Huckleberry! Mel: Ok, ok, let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Dr Abbot Jack: No. Who broke it? Santos: Dr Abbot... Langdon's been awfully quiet. Langdon: Really? Oh my God- *Everyone arguing* Jack, to Emery: I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. Jack: I predict 10 minutes from now, they'll be at each others' throat with war paint on their faces and armed with scalpels. Emery: Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.
