ARISE FROM THE DEAD PLS BECAUSE I JUST JOINED THE FANDOM.
The podcast is very good and literally UNDERRATED, you guys should listen to it pls it's soooo good 😭 but anyway before I ramble about the characters and everything, I decided to make an AU of them being in The Magnus Protocol universe, because I am a cross shipper (shipping characters from different fandoms) and I for some reason, ship Eiffel and Alice.
Now we're just going to start off with the fears of the original five, yes I am including Hera because she is, Our Sassy AI Queen 👑
Doug Eiffel: Eiffel is pretty obvious on what his fear is, The Web or The Corruption. He just doesn't want to be controlled or told to,and also his constant fear of Spiders, oh how Annabelle would love teasing him now would she? But I decided to choose The Web because not only is it about fear of being controlled, it's combined with Arachnophobia which fits perfectly for Eiffel.
Reneé Minkowski: Her fear was pretty hard for me to break down but I ended up going for Distortion. The fear of being lied to, how many times has the crew lied to her and also her lying to others (Ex- Captain Lovelace). But it is also the fear of Unreality, and she doesn't want to believe that there are aliens, because that is unreality, and she fears it.
Alexandre Hilbert (Dmitri Ilyich Volodin): Now for Hilbert I chose the Lonely, pretty much somes up his character of being completely isolated with his work and coping with his own problems. Nobody ever expects him of anything, he's like a faded aura in the back of the room. I was going to choose the End but I felt like the Lonely fitted him better since he does avoid others often.
Isabel Lovelace: Lovelace is between Slaughter & Hunt, because she has both traits especially of being aggressive and her wanting Hilbert dead. But I think she does fit more to the Hunt, because she's afraid of being hunted by the others. Her character was a complex one, like with Hilbert, she had good intentions just kind of showed it the wrong way, but I like her character.
Hera: Hera I loved her so much she is amazing and honestly my favorite (Besides Eiffel & Hilbert). Now you may be wondering, she's an AI not a Human, well the fear isn't always on humans pov, but what about AI? AI doesn't always have a natural fear but for Hera I chose the Corruption. The corruption I like to put in, isn't always about bugs or something gross, it could also mean virus corruption and hijacking the system, and that's exactly what Hera fears.
Anyway overall I'm only on Ep-31 and this is already the best podcast ever, I'm taking a break from Night Vale but I will go back to it, so no worries. Sincerely Deviser was also a good short podcast, it reminded me of those short horror films that were on my TV, and it always ended in a cliffhanger, and I've decided to combine Deviser and Wolf 359 together because I again will say, Cross Ship Eiffel x Son. But on a serious note, I freaking love-
Hilbert. I get that he isn't an entirely good person but he is so complex and so well written and I just jWJHDUEGRKDKD LOVE HIM!!! And I like to spoil myself but I really don't want to see him die even though it does happen. I will forever always love Hilbert, at first I didn't know what I thought of his character, but as it went on I began to love him more and more. I just love his character and his ACCENT!! UGHHH I'm a SUCKER for characters with Accents, because it adds more into their depth.
But alright I'll talk more about it very soon I just will always hyperfixate on Hilbert and Eiffel those two are my favorite characters and favorite duo.
