My robotic/cyborg designs made since 2022 🐧✨

I'd like to share some very interesting facts about the robotic/cyborg designs I've had to make, either for my AU or at the request of a friend.

Mecha Sonic MK2

Being the one who started it all. The day I started drawing him I suffered, but I was quite determined to make his design as faithful as possible to the original with some creative freedom on my part.

Its rusty, standard design underwent many changes, leaving it as a concept. I will create its final design sheet this year, 2026.

This is in fourth place as the most complex robotic design I have designed, At the same time, I hold him in the highest regard because it was Mecha Sonic that got me out of my comfort zone.

Bionic (Mecha Sonic MK0)

The simplest and easiest design to draw was because I designed it as a cyborg child. Besides being the smallest.

Mechknux (Mecha Knuckles)

Along with Mecha Sonic, it was also a design that was difficult for me to draw because it was a cyborg echidna, now it is at an intermediate level where I can draw it without so much trouble.

Huntress

The character is not mine, it belongs to a friend who asked me for help with its redesign, being the third most complex robotic design I have made. At my friend's request, I wanted it to look like both Neo Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic at the same time.

Furnace (Alternative)

An alternate version of Furnace belonging to the same friend who asked me for help with the design of Huntress; I also designed her alternate version of Furnace.

He would be the second most complex robotic design I've ever done because I've NEVER drawn Furnace before and he has a lot of details.

Mark

I had already mentioned that Mark is based on a not-so-well-known Eggman robot, whose original design seemed ugly to me (from my perspective), so I had to do a COMPLETE redesign of the original design to fit the logic of my AU.

Since 2023 I have been working on its design and I crown it as the most complex robotic design I have ever had to do.

For good reason, I won't reveal the name of the robotic model it's based on, nor will I show its complete design. Those who have seen it have liked it. My congratulations to whoever discovered the robotic model that inspired it.

I really really need to write a fic of gemerl and Omega combining since Gemerl can fuse with older badnik technology. Trying to decide how I want to execute it. There's so many ways I can go about it and many different angles I can explore. One of the reasons I haven't written it yet is because I want to do it right. I can always write more than one too. I imagine I could make the experience somewhat romantic, mostly for Gemerl. Omega would be with him and their codes would be so close together. Omega would be more enraptured that he could feel their power combining, and he could breakthrough the thresholds of what he knew to be his abilities. He'd become addicted to it, which would allow him to bend to Gemerl's will just a little more. Then oh no he recognizes and feels Gemerl's feelings too. Gah! So many possibilities for a fic like this.
