This is a short I made as a high school senior for my 3D Design and Animation class. I call it “A Day In Metropolis.” For this assignment, we were given one character model to use, but we could use it as many times as we wanted by changing the color of the tiles on its body, so that’s why all the people look the same.

Every time I watch this, I can’t help but laugh at how bad it is. I love it so much. It brings back so many memories. I spent so much time working on details that can’t even be seen in the final product. Like, Superman took SO LONG to design, with the House of El crest on his chest and everything! But I guess that’s just the life of an animator.

I used Autodesk 3ds Max and Sony Acid to make this short.
