“24/7 I’ve been searching for you and arrived here
If I try to open my arms and hold you, I can’t grab anything
No matter how much I miss you, I can’t fill my heart that wants you
24/7 your memory doesn’t end until the universe stops”
Soonyoung sat there. He didn’t know why he had bothered waiting there on the rooftop where they would meet. Like he did every so often. It had been months since he had last seen Jihoon. He knew that the younger male had moved on by now. He could tell by the way he hadn’t called. By the way they passed each other on the street like they never shared an ‘I love you’. Like they had never met. He felt the pain balling up in his chest like he did every time a memory of Jihoon popped into his head.
He looked at his watch and looked at the time. 1:38am. He decided it had been long enough. He stood up and brushed off his dark blue fitted jeans. He opened the door to the staircase and began to walk into the lobby of the abandoned office building. The same building he and his group of friends would meet up at and spend hours just telling jokes and making the dumbest memories. The same abandoned office building where he kissed Jihoon for the first time on a dare because Seungkwan his best friend had a crush on the older boy.
Soonyoung ran his hand across the front desk before he exited the building. He pulled the hood of his black hoodie over his hair to protect his black locks from the falling rain. It might have been late at night, but Seoul was still active and alive. He walked down the city street and found himself in front of a bar. Jam Jam. The very bar he and Jihoon shared their first drink together privately. He sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of Soju and a shot glass. He took the green bottle in his hand and poured himself a shot. He took it back before quickly pouring another and just instantly shot it back. As he poured himself a third shot before his phone began to ring. He picked it up and answered before taking the time to look at the collar I.D
“Hello?” He said as he answered the phone
“Yah, babe. It’s almost 2am! Where are you? I’ve been worried sick and I’m tired.” The voice whined through the phone.
“Channie, I’ll be home soon. Just lay down in bed, I have my keys.” He reassured his boyfriend to remain calm and insisted he would be home soon.
“Okay Hyung... but please- get home soon.” He pleaded.
“I will. I’ll talk to you later” He said then hung up.
Soonyoung knew that what he was doing wasn’t right. He was taking advantage of the fact he knew his younger friend had been crushing on him for as long as he could remember, but he couldn’t help himself. He was doing anything he could to get over Jihoon. Yeah he felt bad, but he was just trying to fill the hole that Jihoon left behind when he walked away from him. For the last few weeks, he had been coming here to this run down bar. Asking himself why? and what went wrong? was there anything he could have done differently to avoid losing him? He knew that beating himself up over it wasn’t gonna get him anywhere, but all he could do was look back on every argument they had in their three year relationship. All the night’s he didn’t spend with Jihoon because he was so busy. The thoughts haunted him every night and had been for weeks.
He looked down at his watch after he pulled himself out of his thoughts. 3:12am. He looked out the large windows and saw the streaks of water as they poured from the sky, ‘One more time. Then I’ll go home.’ He downed one more shot of soju and took a deep breath. He left some cash on the counter and got up. He stepped out of the bar and was greeted by the warm rain that soaked his face. He looked up and began to walk back the way from which he came. He put his hands in his pockets as he walked along the lit up Seoul sidewalk. He let that day play through his head.
Soonyoung felt the tears well up in his eyes. He walked into their shared apartment after a long day of teaching dance classes and was greeted by his long time boyfriend standing in the hallway. His suitcase packed.
“J-Jihoon. What are you doing? Going on a trip?” He laughed nervously. Praying that, that was what was going on.
“Soonyoung... Let’s not act like both of us haven’t seen this coming for quite some time now...” Jihoon spoke. His words piercing through Soonyoung's heart. His tone was cold and emotionless.
“Can't we sit down and talk about this first? Please? I know we’ve both been busy, but I've been trying so hard... Jihoon please you can’t leave me.” He felt the tears building up in his eyes. His heart dropped into the pit of his stomach.
“Soonyoung... There's no talking about it anymore. I’m sorry. I’ve just lost those feelings...” He looked away from him.
“Lost what? What feelings? The desire to fix us? I’ll change everything. I’ll fix it all since I’m the reason we're so broken. I’ll find another job with a better schedule. Jihoon please I’ll-” The tears escaped his eyes and fell like waterfalls on to his shirt as he was cut off by the smaller ones serious tone.
“Soonyoung, I don’t love you anymore. I have come to not like you. I don’t wanna see you anymore.” He brought his head up to look Soonyoung in his eyes. He could see the absolute shock on Soonyoung's face. The words cut through his entire being. He couldn’t believe the love of his life was standing here in front of him, telling him that after three years of kisses, hardships, and special moments, he had fallen out of love with him.
They both stood there in silence for a minute. Jihoon grabbed the handle of his suitcase and walked towards the door, “I’m sorry. I wish you the best.” He said as he shut the door behind him and exited the building. Not looking back in fear it would send him running into Soonyoung’s arms.
Soonyoung dropped to his knees. He just stayed there and sobbed silently. After what felt like hours he brought himself to his feet and made his way to his bedroom. He laid in the bed he and Jihoon had shared together for the last two years and laid on his side. He laid his head on Jihoon’s pillow and inhaled deeply. Jihoon’s scent coursed through Soonyoung’s nostrils. It calmed him for a few moments before sending a wave of heartache through his entire body. He cried out loudly as he curled his body into a ball and covered his body in the comforter.
A few days had passed and no one had heard from Soonyoung. Filled with worry Mingyu and Chan headed over to his apartment. Neither were close with Jihoon, so they figured the two were just fighting and Soonyoung was just trying to let off some steam and wanted to avoid being asked a thousand questions as their friend group always did when the couples fought. The pair banged on the door and when no one answered, Mingyu used his spare key to let them in.
“Hyung? Hyung are you here?” Mingyu called out. When they didn't receive an answer they looked around the apartment. As they got closer to the bedroom Chan motioned his hand for Mingyu to stop.
“You hear that? It sounds like crying.” Chan said has he looked at Mingyu with heartache in his face. Everyone knew Chan had a crush on Soonyoung, and had since they were elementary school. Well, everyone but Soonyoung. Chan had tried to confess a couple times but every time he was either too nervous and ended up blowing it, or Soonyoung was already with Jihoon so he figured it was a waste of time since Soonyoung had a crush on him for the same amount of time.
The two got to the bedroom and were greeted with the saddest version of Soonyoung they had ever seen. He was curled in a ball, under the covers with dace on Jihoon’s pillow. His face was was oily and showed obvious signs of not being washed in a few days. His hair was greasy and unkept. His eyes were red, puffy, and showed heartbreak and exhaustion.
“Oh Hyung...” Chan let out in a silent voice. His heart hurt seeing him like this. He walked over and called into his bed and laid behind him. He wrapped his arms around him and held him tightly. Mingyu followed, laying in front of him. He took his best friend into his arms and let him cry out.
“He’s gone. He’s really gone. He packed all his things and left me. He left me.” He sobbed out uncontrollably. Mingyu and Chan just rubbed his arms and back in comfort. They didn't know what to say because they knew no amount of words could really comfort him. He was heartbroken and he would be for quite a while.
After a few months Soonyoung began dating Chan. The younger one had been there for him so much, it just made sense to him and for a little bit he was genuinely happy with him. He hadn't seen Jihoon since the day he left and Chan was helping his pain subside, but when Soonyoung saw Jihoon while walking the city streets one day it all came flooding back. He had been a wreck ever since. Chan knew he was acting different. He didn't want to pry too much into his boyfriends business so whatever Soonyoung didn’t tell him he didn’t ask about. He decided he would let Soonyoung tell him in his own time. Which brought them to the place they currently were.
Soonyoung looked up. He was in front of the office building. He took deep breath and looked down at his watch once more. 3:56am. He sighed and walked into the building. Soonyoung had never been worried about the strange people the night time brought out. He was a pretty good fighter and always had a weapon or two on him. He walked through the run down building and made his way to the roof top. When he opened the door he was greeted by a small silhouette. His body filled with anxiety until the figure turned and similar features were made visible by the bright moonlight. It was Jihoon. He turned around fully to face Soonyoung.
He smiled at him, “So... You still come here too huh?” He spoke. His voice filled Soonyoung’s soul with a warm wave of comfort.
Soonyoung smiled and nodded, “Y-Yeah... I didn't think you did though.”
Jihoon shook his head, “I do, and have been. Since the day I left. I come here every night around 4 am and wait until sunrise before leaving.”
Soonyoung raised an eyebrow, “Waiting for the sunrise? Why wait here when there’s plenty of better places to watch it.” He said as he walked closer to Jihoon who remained standing close to the railing of the rooftop. He grabbed the railing and looked out into the night horizon. The rain stopping and the smell of dew gracing his nostrils.
“I’ve been waiting... For you Soonyoung.” He spoke silently, but the words boomed through Soonyoung’s ears. His heart pounding so loud he could feel it in his throat.
“W-What? Why?” He turned to look at Jihoon, who was already staring at him. A small smile made it’s way across his face as tears filled his small eyes.
“Because I lied Soonyoung. I lied, and lied again.”
Pink and orange hues merged themselves as the sun began to rise. Soonyoung was too preoccupied watching how the rays cast themselves on the pale skin of the man sleeping naked next to him to get ready for the day. Turned on his side, watching the rise and fall of his chest, placed a sense of comfort inside the restless heart sitting inside his chest.
He drank in the site of his partner, sleeping so peacefully next to him. Trying to burn the memory into his mind, the likelihood of this happening again too small. Together they had beaten the odds; they had fallen in love amid a hectic life. They had spent their entire life training to be perfect, to be the face of a brand but they had not prepared themselves to find each other.
Jihoon and Soonyoung had found each other amid the sadness that was being an idol. The days spent on stage were good but the nights they spent wrapped together were better. Because at night they could fall in love and lay with each other. To the outside world, Jihoon was the one who did not like skinship, but in the comfort of their dorm and behind hotel room doors, he spent his time tucked in the warmth of Soonyoung’s body.
As Soonyoung watched Jihoon sleep, his mind wandered to the memories of what it was like during those first few touches. They were both so young and naïve, afraid of doing the wrong thing that they learned together.
Soonyoung learned to breathe by loving Jihoon, and together they grew into young men and into each other. Soonyoung never knew what life was until Jihoon told him he loved him for the first time. Of course, Soonyoung said it first, but the months it took Jihoon to catch up and return the words were mere pages in the book of loving him.
They were celebrating Seventeen's 3rd Anniversary. All 13 members were together, but all Jihoon could focus on was the warmth that was Soonyoung laying beside him. Soonyoung had spilled his feelings a few months prior and told Jihoon to take his time catching up. Jihoon loved the way Soonyoung laughed with his whole body. He loved how Soonyoung was so carefree and loved with his entire heart. As he watched Soonyoung laugh about something, Seokmin said, Jihoon knew at that moment that he loved a lot of things about Soonyoung but most of all, he loved him. He was in love with him.
“Soonyoung.” Jihoon kept his voice soft, not wanting to catch the attention of everyone else.
“Hmm?”
“Soonyoung, look at me please.”
As his eyes met Soonyoung’s, Jihoon knew that no matter what, he loved him and that was worth everything. “I love you.”
Soonyoung dropped his phone on the floor as he sat up to face Jihoon properly. “Say it again, please.” Jihoon couldn’t help but to smile at the sight of his boyfriend, “I said I love you. I’ve loved you for a long time but it took my heart took a minute to realize it.”
Caught up in their bliss, the two failed to realize that Jeonghan had been watching the scene unfold. Jihoon thumbed the tears Soonyoung had let slip onto his cheeks. They had drowned the voices of the other members out, wrapped too tight within their happiness.
“You know watching me sleep is creepy.” The raspy voice of younger, peeled Soonyoung’s eyes back to Jihoon’s face, who was now looking at him. “What were you thinking about hmm?”
“Just how much I love you.” Soonyoung’s arms warped themselves around Jihoon’s smaller frame, pulling their bodies against one another. “I’ve loved you my entire life, Jihoon. Even before we met, I was meant to love you.”
“What’s got you so sappy this morning?”
“Today is a special day, and I couldn’t sleep. I watched you sleep instead, and it made me happy. Because you look so peaceful when you’re sleeping. I wanted to take a picture.”
“You do that, and I’ll hit you.”
Soonyoung laughed, “Yeah I know. Now kiss me okay.”
“You’re so needy.” But there was no malice laced in his voice, and before long he was leaning toward Soonyoung, pressing their lips together in a slow, languid kiss.
“You know we don’t have all day to spend in bed, right?” Jihoon smiled against Soonyoung’s lips.
“Jihoon just keep kissing me, please.” Soonyoung’s fingers found themselves raking through the latter’s hair, pulling him back for another kiss. Instantly, Jihoon molded into the embrace, becoming so pliant and willing to love the other man so openly.
A knock on their door broke the moment neither wanted to end. Groaning as he pulled away, Jihoon made his way to the door.
“Jeonghan I know that’s you and I know you’re here to retrieve him but please, give us ten more minutes.”
“No can do Hoonie, I have to take him with me, or we’re going to be late. You’ll see him later. Give me your man, please and thank you.”
Three hours later, Jihoon found himself drinking happily with Seungcheol, Wonwoo, Vernon, Jun, Minghao, and Seokmin reminiscing on memories of two happy couple.
“I remember him talking in his sleep about you. He used to do it all the time. Every time I was trying to sleep all I heard was Jihoonie come cuddle, Jihoonie I love you.” Seokmin’s laugh echoed through Jihoon’s system, reminding him of his childhood; the reminder of everything good in his life.
It had been three years since Seventeen took another hiatus, many of the members had finished up their enlistment, and other members were chasing their dreams. Mingyu had starred in a feature film. After the news reached the other members, Mingyu was taken out for celebratory drinks and ended up drunkenly confession his feelings for Wonwoo (all the members groaned in annoyance because everyone knew). Minghao had moved back to China for a few months having opened his photography studio. Seokmin and Seungkwan had released two solo mini albums respectively, each earning much praise in Korea and throughout the world. Joshua had returned to America and spent months with his family before returning to Korea. Chan still had three months left in his enlistment but had taught dance before enlisting.
Jihoon had been producing a few songs for other artists within Pledis and beyond and had even started the songs up for Seventeen’s comeback planned once Chan returns. Jihoon was now 33, and his life had been full of the love from the other 12 members.
Jihoon loved a lot of things. He loved music, he loved composing and spending hours in the studio. He loved coffee and the dinners Mingyu used to make in the dorms. He loved Seventeen and his family. But above all, he loved Soonyoung. Soonyoung was good. He was the energy needed after a stressful day, and he Jihoon's home. Soonyoung was the contentment Jihoon’s one restless heart yearned for. It took Jihoon a long time to catch up to the feelings Soonyoung made his heart feel. He wasn’t good at telling the older how he felt but he would often send him snippets of songs pouring out his love for the man that gave him hope.
For the longest time, Soonyoung was the unsynthesized melody Jihoon couldn’t put onto paper. Jihoon tried to figure himself out by trying to figure out the other boy. Soonyoung was the stupid song stuck inside Jihoon’s head for years. He became the purest form of everything Jihoon needed. But when Jihoon learned how to love from Soonyoung, he discovered who he was.
When Jihoon was twenty-four, Seventeen won their first Artist of the Year, and backstage he pulled Soonyoung into a dark room and kissed him as his life depended on it, because it honestly did. They had broken up a few weeks prior because Soonyoung wanted more than Jihoon could give him. As Jihoon held onto Soonyoung’s dress shirt as the elder cried, he kissed the tears from his cheeks, “You are everything; more than this life, more than awards and recognition. You are more.”
That night when they returned to their shared apartment, Jihoon made love to Soonyoung, a promise of a life together.
Soonyoung was designed to love Jihoon; he always thought this late at night when Jihoon was stuck in his studio. When they lived in the dorm, they hardly had time to spend together so when they moved in together, Soonyoung thought it’d be different.
They often fought because of the long hours Jihoon spent working, even after all their time together, he always put work first. Though Soonyoung had grown used to it, he also grew tired of spending sleepless nights alone, waiting for Jihoon to return home.
When Jihoon came home at 4:00 am, the last thing he expected was to see his boyfriend awake on the couch, waiting.
“I am tired of this Jihoon. I am tired of always waiting for you. For our entire relationship, I have waited. I can't wait anymore. I think we’re done here; we’re going nowhere anyway.”
As Jihoon watched Soonyoung walk out of their apartment, Jihoon never knew something could hurt this much. For four days, he stayed in his apartment drinking until Seungcheol came pounding through his door, a string of curses leaving his lips.
“Lee Jihoon get your ass up and take a shower. You have an interview, and you’re not going looking like that.”
“I’m not going at all, tell them I’m ill.”
“He left you, accept it. Move on or win him back but please get up, you smell like shit.”
“I hate you.”
“Yeah, so I’ve heard. C’mon Jeonghan is pissed, and you don’t have to go home to that, I do.”
When a freshly showered and somewhat sober Jihoon emerged from his apartment, he was met by the cause of his breakdown.
“Soon, what-what are you doing back?”
“I’m sorry I’m an idiot.”
“If anyone is an idiot, it’s me. I turned our spare room into a studio, so I’ll spend more time here. I’ll spend more time with you. I promise. Just please come home.”
Soonyoung enlists first, and Jihoon is lost without him. When Jihoon enlists a few weeks later, Seungcheol sends him off with a hug and promises to keep their cat alive. During their enlistment, Korea passes an equal rights law, and everything makes a lot more sense.
Soonyoung is welcomed home by the remaining ten members who weren’t busy or currently serving. Jihoon isn’t there because he couldn’t be but when Jihoon releases about a month later, Soonyoung is there to greet him and when Jihoon kisses him for the first time in public. #SoonhoonLives and #Soonhoonisreal is trending on Twitter for the following three days.
When Jihoon releases his first solo album three months after he dedicates it to his “Star.”
Seungcheol and Jeonghan are the first to get married, and Seokmin sings at their ceremony. When a drunken Wonwoo pulls Soonyoung into his side, slurring words of love and adoration about how happy he is about love and how much he wishes he could find that, Soonyoung laughs and holds his drunk best friend close.“Just confess to Gyu already. We’re all tired of you pinning. It’s been long enough now.”
In their group chat a few days later, Wonwoo tells everyone he finally asked Mingyu out.
When Jihoon came home one chilly November evening, defeated from an unfortunate day in the studio, Soonyoung eased his sad heart with soft kisses and slow lovemaking. The next morning Jihoon asked Soonyoung to marry him, and they both laughed and fell into each other once again, the ever occurring topic over their 13-year long relationship.
“I’ll spend my whole life asking you until you agree.”
“Jihoon we can’t get married. Just drop it.”
“Why can’t we? It’s legal here in Korea now, marry me c’mon. You used to want me to ask you that, what changed?”
“Nothing changed. I just grew up and realized; we don't have to get married. You’re mine, and I’m yours, always. Married or not.”
If you were to ask Jihoon 13 years ago if he saw himself kneeled on one knee in front of Kwon Soonyoung, requesting the latter to marry him, he’d probably punch you. It was Soonyoung who kissed him first, and it was Soonyoung who taught Jihoon what it means to live. It was Soonyoung that did everything for him. Growing up an idol taught Jihoon what it was to live your dream but falling in love with Soonyoung taught him what his dream truly was.
When Soonyoung said yes, Jihoon cried for the first time in years, and when they met for the weekly dinner with the members, they broke the news. Seokmin cried, and Wonwoo held Mingyu close, happiness brewing for his best friend.
It was now months before their first comeback in years, and the two were getting reading to marry one another. Soonyoung had insisted they get married before the comeback scheduled became too busy and their management had agreed that was probably for the best. Everyone at Pledis had been very supportive of them from the beginning, even more so now that they could legally wed in Korea.
Jihoon walked down the aisle first, arm and arm with his mother and as he watched Soonyoung follow him shortly after, he had to hold tears back for the sake of not ugly crying.
“Soonyoung, my dearest Star. I have spent most of my life loving you. At first, it was from afar because I was too afraid of what loving you meant. But then you crashed into me, and my whole life made a lot more sense. Together with Seventeen, we learned how to dream. But it was you that taught me the most. You taught me what life was. You are the truest definition of everything I need. I love you more than I did all those years ago and less than I will tomorrow. You are the best thing to ever happen to me. You are worth more than all those awards or fame. You are worth everything. I love you.”
“Jihoon, when I first met you we were awkward teenagers with no idea what life was. And then we grew up and I realized life was you. I told you I loved you first because I was so afraid you’d run if I didn’t. Even after I said it, I was still so afraid you’d run. I never had much confidence in myself or what I was capable of but you taught me how to love myself by loving me. I loved watching you fall in love with me. You have the kindest, warmest heart and I cannot imagine anyone loving you but me. We have been through so much together and I wouldn’t have wanted to experience life with anyone else. You picked me. And out of everyone in the world, we picked each other and I thank the universe for that everyday. You are good. You are my life, my partner and soon you will be my husband. You are the start and end of everything. You carried the weight of 12 other people on your shoulders for so long and you never broke and for the rest of our lives, I promise I’ll carry you. I’ll carry you wherever life takes us and together, we’ll survive this mess. Thank you for loving me and thank you for saving me. I love you more than you would ever truly know.”
Later that evening after the party was over and they had spent hours wrapped in the naked warmth of each others bodies, Jihoon updated his Instagram. With a photo of them together, the caption read together with my husband, my star and his bio now read, Kwon Jihoon of Seventeen.
Summary: A short story about a late night snack, and a soft sway with SoonHoon.
————————————————
It’s late at night, and the stars in space twinkle in the Earth’s atmosphere. The pale moon reflects its cold light in through the bedroom window of an apartment in South Korea. The faded shine lands on a king size bed, with a couple laying in it.
Snores are heard, and murmurs of a dream are lost in the pillows. Nothing but the peaceful rhythm of breaths and the warmth of two bodies entangled in a large lump of love and affection. Until suddenly, the smaller of the two snaps awake. As he raises a hand to rub at his eyes, he sees the blinding numbers of the clock set next to him. “2am?” He whispers. He then turns to face his lover.
The larger of the two, is no doubt the softest. Even in his sleep, his chubby cheeks are squished so cutely; the upward curve of his lips gets lost in them. His nose is crinkled and his eyes are just two slanted lines of happiness. His face is nothing short of peaceful and content, a contrast to his usual energetic and hard-working persona when awake. The smaller takes a moment to sigh and wonder how he got so lucky, until his stomach growls. Early morning snack it is then.
He gently unwraps his partner’s arms from around him and positions a pillow to be where he was. When he takes the covers off his body, he’s hit with a wave of cold. It’s only at this moment that he remembered he’s only wearing a large t-shirt, belonging to the squish next to him, and a pair of boxers. So, he grabs a blanket from the end of the large bed, wraps it around himself, and heads to the kitchen.
He easily gets to his desired location, and goes straight into the fridge for ingredients to a sandwich. He digs out cheese, mayo, and ham, then goes into the pantry to get the bread. Soon enough, the sandwich is done and is already being gnawed on by the tiny man with the big appetite.
In the clear quietness of the night, he hears the shuffle of footsteps, then his lover appears with messy hair and baggy pajamas. “What are you doing up?” Jihoon says as gently as he can with a mouth full of sandwich. Soonyoung doesn’t reply until he’s officially near the shorter, and leans on him, softly speaking, “I lost my warmth.” “Well your warmth was hungry.” Jihoon replied with an adoring type of sass that was only for the mochi man in front of him. “Fair enough.” Soonyoung says, with a yawn.
Eventually, the sandwich is finished. Jihoon wraps his blanketed arms around Soonyoung’s shoulders, and in return, Soonyoung wraps his arms around Jihoon’s waist, moving his chin to rest on the shorter’s head.
They start to sway as the only thing they hear are breaths being taken and hearts beating as though they were saying I love yous for the first time again. Jihoon starts to hum a song stuck in his head. The song titled Falling For U is performed by their friends in the same group as them, and it just feels right for the moment. So, they spend the next hour or less doing that; enjoying each other’s presence.
The next morning, they wake up on the floor of their kitchen, cuddled against each other, with the blanket tangled with them. What happened after they stopped swaying? They’ll never know. But they might just stay down for a little bit longer.

summary: sometimes soonyoung is just too much, especially around christmas-time, but jihoon can handle it.
Jihoon hates having a boyfriend who's always so happy-go-lucky.
It's gotten on his nerves more times than he can actually count. Soonyoung is lucky Jihoon likes him so much despite his always positive attitude.
There are moments when Jihoon wants to slap Soonyoung upside the head and run away as far as his legs will take him. Moments like this where Soonyoung has him pinned to the wall as mistletoe hangs over their heads. All their friends are laughing at them, or more specifically, laughing at Jihoon because of the pained expression he's wearing, but still ultimately laughing at the two of them.
Jihoon hates Christmas. Doesn't see the point to it, apart from his friends and family worrying themselves silly trying to one-up each other with their gifts. Still, Jihoon doesn't think that's a valid reason to waste so much money on things that will be forgotten about by March next year.
Back to Soonyoung.
His knee is pressing right above Jihoon's own, his hands on either side of Jihoon's face. Jihoon's pretty sure that his boyfriend is actually very drunk, but he doesn't think that's a valid excuse for his boyfriend to kiss him under mistletoe.
It's all Jeonghan's fault anyway. The bastard had laughed idiotically as he pointed at something above Jihoon's head and then shoved Soonyoung towards him, clapping his hands together as he started to chant, "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"
Jihoon sighs and scowls at his boyfriend, scrunching his nose up at the smell of alcohol. Soonyoung is really drunk and Jihoon really hates Christmas.
Soonyoung's smiling at him, his eyes scrunched up into crescents as he closes in and Jihoon thinks, cute, before Soonyoung is kissing him.
As far as kisses go, it's not groundbreaking. The earth doesn't shatter and swallow them up, there's no fire running through Jihoon's veins as Soonyoung kisses him, there isn't even a hot swelling in his chest to tell him that he might be in love with Soonyoung after all. There's just mild irritation and a soft feeling in the pit of Jihoon's stomach as Soonyoung smiles into the kiss and lets Jihoon lead, lets him set the pace, whatever the pace may be.
Jihoon sighs and opens his mouth up for Soonyoung, forgetting that his friends are watching them as they continue to kiss. It's just Jihoon and Soonyoung right now.
“I can’t explain it right now, but I need you to trust me on this.” Soonhoon - humor/fluff
Okay so I’m bad at writing humor so it’s more of a fluff, i’m sorry. .-. i was watching a ‘the midnight game/ 3 am challange’ video. rip.
-shiho
The older one was quite surprised when Woozi called him. He was listening a new tune they were working on, trying to imagine a choreography that will fit the feeling of the song. Usually Woozi doesn’t call him, only if it’s an emergency. Did something bad happen? As far as he knew he was in his studio working on beats and lyrics, while he was spending hours in the practice room. The others were back at home, minus S.Coups, Dino and DK.
- Can you come to the studio right now?
As he stepped out of the room the elevator not far away dinged, signalling that the ones who came to this level have arrived, yet nobody left it. To be honest, he got a little scared - every company has it’s stories about ghosts and other otherwordly creatures. So did Pledis, and the guys always scared eachother with shady stories they made up. He slowly and carefully made his way to the studio, not looking behind him even when he heard noises or when the lights flickered, it seemed . He opened the door, the image of a rather terrified Woozi sitting in his seat with all the lights off, only his laptop’s screen giving some light.
- I think I.. did something I shouldn’t have done...
- Okay... You’re scaring me. What happened?
- I can’t explain it right now, but I need you to trust me on this.
- Wow.. Fine.
Woozi pulled out the other chair under his desk and motioned Hoshi to sit down. After that he started one of the old ghost stories they used to tell eachother. First the call, then the elevator, sounds and flickering lights, to a scared Woozi in a dark room. He felt chills creeping up on his back, the little hairs standing up. He coudln’t keep listening to it anymore.
- Please, can you just skip to the part where it’s over? I still have some stuff to do and we also should go home to get some sleep... It’s almost midnight.
- Then we should move to the practice room. It was there where all these things kept happening.
With a big gulp he stood up, mustering up enough courage to go out to the hall. But he wasn’t ready for it to be full dark, only the exit signt glowed green on the other end of it. The last noona and hyung left a hour ago, they were supposed to turn off the lights...Woozi started walking comfortably, which surprised Hoshi - he may be small, but he can be fearless and manly. He grabbed the end of Woozi’s shirt, like it was some kind of life buoy.
They were close to the practice room when a loud bang rang through the hall, scaring both of them - it came from inside. Hoshi stepped closer, while Woozi just swore under his breath.
- Please go inside first. - Woozi looked back at Hoshi and even though they couldn’t see eachother properly he was sure Hoshi was more than scared. He put his hand on the handle, he shut his eyes as he slowly opened the door - the room was pitchblack. He bit the inside of his mouth, the first step was hard, so was the second and he slowly reached for the switch to turn the lights one when another hand did it. He shrieked and jumped back as the lighst turned on, revealin a laughing Dino.
- Remember the first time you stepped into this room? That was the start of the magic you kept doing since then. Happy birthday, Soonyoung! - Woozi smiled at him as the others loudly cheered for him. He looked around - the whole practice room was decorated, a little table in the middle with a cake and other sweets and drinks on it.
He laughed, now that he thought back on it, he was a bit pathetic with his fear.
