just a lil rant

honestly soooo sick of people that constantly beg for compliments or act like their friends are bad for not constantly reassuring them (yes i am trying to @ someone in my friend group but this goes for people in general). if you are 20 years old I expect you to act like an adult and saying that people have to drop their entire lives for you is so childish and selfish. don’t act like people can’t be busy or that they are obligated to be at your beck and call for some tiny reason. be self aware. if you have a problem, come talk to me about it. i know this seems a bit hypocritical because here i am on tumblr ranting to my heart’s content, but when someone tells you to tell them when something’s wrong, and then you do, and they get mad at you for it, it’s easy to get frustrated. moral of the story is: if you have a problem, tell me. own up to your mistakes, and don’t act like friendship is this checklist that you have to follow. be understanding of people’s schedules. act like an adult, please
