#I thought it would be interesting if Shadow was confused about love#it's kinda based on how I've seen people talk about their relationship and dating#how for some people dating and friendship are completely separate things when I'm like...#“Isn't your lover supposed to be your friend in the first place??? ”#I hope this makes sense#Also i think it's not that Shadow is against kisses its rather he just values deep emotional connection more#and here he thinks it's a “choice” beetween his bond with Espio and just romantic “dating” things#and in this case he chooses the first option#Soooo....#the next (and probably final) part will be out i don't know when#Based on the dialogue I wrote its gonna be long and more complications and I haven't even sketched it out yet#I try to keep it simple as it's supposed to be low effort thing I'm constantly telling myself to make it uglier#just so I don't raise the bar constantly#and it still takes long damn ittt#shadpio#hanahaki#espio the chameleon#shadow the hedgehog
