So... I posted this in my first post in an art dump... But @ouchies-manager bullied me into re-posting it without the other art 'cause they think more people will see it this way
Soukoku x Romeo & Juliet... Time taken: around 8 hours.
Au explanation + speed paint undercut
So as i said this is a Soukoku x Romeo and Juliet au
In the original story of R&J, they fall in love at first sight, Juliet is to be betrothed to another man, so she and Romeo marry in secret, a fight in town that Romeo was involved with happens causing two people to die, one of the being Juliet's cousin, so Romeo is banished from town. Juliet fakes her death to go live with Romeo, and they send a messenger to tell him the news (that it was faked), the messenger can't reach him since the town he's staying in is blocked off due to the plague, he hears news of Juliet's death (not knowing it was faked), and he re-enters town, and drinks poison, killing himself, his body laying on Juliet's tomb, Juliet finds his dead body, then she stabs herself, dying.
In this au, Chuuya is Romeo, and Dazai is Juliet, the story goes the same, until the part where Juliet originally faked her death... Due to Dazai's desire to die alongside his loved one, knowing that there would be no easy way out, he proposes a double suicide. Chuuya agrees. They both drink poison, and die peacefully, together.
