I have never seen such landscapes in real life, and I don’t think I ever will. Sometimes it made me depressed, causing some form of impostor syndrome, because what I draw was never something I could see and touch. These worlds were always just dreams. But maybe that's what made them so special to me, and drawing something that only exists in my mind feels right.
This Kotie is an interesting character - his name is Frai, and he was once created as a hybrid of my main ocs, such as Vewis, Atram, and one secret character. I like how he came out in the new version, so I decided to redraw his old ref/concept as well. I miss drawing more detailed/realistic character refs. Maybe someday I'll draw something like this for the main ones too ~
