My dnd group is expanding out and we're playing a setting called Lancer ft. space and mech pilots.

So I had to design a character who is basically the anime Mech Pilot after he ran away from the military (with the mech) and is hiding in the dark of space and does odd jobs for wet food for himself. Basically the ugly truth of being a mech pilot isn't all fun and cute games-it's a lot of bodily damage and psychological harm that results in a very very broken and medically unwell man.

Qwerty the cat is a new addition; it's a cat who they found on an abandoned mining asteroid that is the byproduct of far too many generations of cats inbreeding with each other and cannibalizing each other.

A massive piece I worked super hard on during our z0 campaign hiatus. Very proud of it :) In honor of Odse’s 22nd birthday, I stuck 22 different campaign Easter eggs for my friends to find. They had a great time searching!

June 3rd 2024: Lasers and Feelings

Lasers and Feelings is a micro rpg about the crew of an interstellar scout ship. With just two stats (Lasers and Feelings), the crew blunder their way through as many space adventures as you can handle.

watching this series set on an oil rig where an unnatural disaster happens. I love the idea of using the traveller system to run something similar just because I love the idea of mining an asteroid that's impermanent dotted across its surface are a half dozen mining rigs built to last the 8 years it'll be viably close enough to mine with the characters on a shift on its last year of operation the rig has become rickety, the asteroid steadily hurtling out of the star system and now all of the other rigs have gone silent after one of them claims to have hit "something"

"Look, it's a small asteroid. A couple of us will walk over to rig five" "Walk! No way" "It's just five miles" "It might as well be five fuckin' thousand. Outside those walls is a hard vacuum. Uneven terrain. And no luxuries like a gravity generator. You fart wrong and you'll get bucked off into the deep dark"

I deeply enjoy the semi-subtle horror of the asteroid being on a course to leave the solar system it's not exactly immanent but it's inevitable, invariable and unstoppable every second you're getting further and further away.

The trouble is, I have no idea what to pit the players against as the enemy. I'm... thinking some sort of ancient alien technology that's doing... something

[Z0 2303, a space cyberpunk ttrpg home game]

Odse (second tallest) is mine, and the rest of these chucklefucks are played by my friends in a homebrew space/cyberpunk ttrpg. We heist (badly), carouse, and make terrible decisions that almost get us killed! Three humans, two space elves, and one insectoid. Current location: terraformed Mars.
