I get leaving Regina single is falling into a racist trope. I also agree it's important to see Regina grieve Robin, she loves deeply, that's the character I fell in love with. What I think people are missing in the Regina needs a LI talk are the justified fears of repeating every ship on the show elevating white men & the heteropatriarchal agenda. I don't want a LI because I know they'll repeat their bigoted writing that has NEVER improved. Let them fix RegalBeliever & Split Queen first.

Of which I completely agree.  I’m just not interested in condemning a character being cast for 12 episodes from now that we haven’t even seen.  Anymore than I would be interested in shipping that character sight unseen.  I kind of feel like they’re two sides of the same coin.

PR frames Regina as not yet redeemed? Do you mean social media? Because some of the last tweets of Regina when the show was on were ‘Regina’s being a hero!’ and ‘Regina believes in herself!’. And then of course the amazing ‘Regina is the Savior!’ tweets.

And I mentioned Regina in one sentence in my first reply and then you started talking about how she was framed compared to CS and I disagreed. That’s not continuing to compare - that’s simply responding to your comparison.
