2. Favorite Tense?

Past tense, as a general rule, but when dabbling with aspect, I love past perfect (’he had gone’). Can’t do a whole story like that, obviously, but the sense of expectation you have with the past perfect--the idea that everything is on hold just waiting for you to get back to it... you can do a lot with that!3. Favorite POV?I’ve ranted before about how I don’t feel like First/Second/Third is in any way adequate to describe what goes on when you choose a POV, and eventually I’ll write some kind of treatise on this.. but meanwhile:Third person is my favorite, typically with only a peppering of ‘limited’ or ‘omniscient’ perspective. In other words, I don’t like the reader necessarily knowing what the character is thinking, except in the broad strokes which the narrative voice can provide.

8. Is there a character you love writing for m--

KAIDAN! IT’S KAIDAN!! *ahem*  I like writing Kaidan because I feel like I’ve spent so much time with him that writing about feels like it keeps him around. 

Of my character sketches on here? I like writing about/for Benat, though I’ve only posted two things so far, because he’s very different from me in a way I respect without envying. Hard to do as a writer?

Character you least like writing for?

In the ME Fandom: Joker. So much pressure to be witty, and a lot of complicated thought processes go into each of those jokes to mask what he’s actually feeling. Figuring out what he’s feeling, what that’s interfacing with, and how he’s gonna cover it up? Oh god.

Of my own character sketches? Lucas. Only one sketch of him up here. But that sketch ended up being... way too close to home. As close to an actual event as anything I’ve written.
