The fact that I'm scared to post something because it even so much as mentions the Delanceys
It's terrifying and ridiculous and I hate it
I hate that this fandom has gone from the most welcoming fandom I've ever seen to toxicity and telling people who they can and can't like and how they can or can't write them.
If you don't want to write them that way, that's fine. If you want to write them that way, that is also fine. If you want them to be 2d villains with no depth, that's fine. If you want to give depth that's deeper than the Mariana Trench, that's fine. If you want to make them stick to the personality given, that's fine. If you want to completely upend it and give them new personalities, that is also fine.
What isn't fine, is dictating how other people write. How other people enjoy their favorite characters from their favorite shows. Which characters people can or can't like.
And doing it in the rb of children's posts?!
Y'all
That is not okay. And if you have the mindset that nobody can like certain characters, then you ought to get the hell off my blog.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
Villains are fascinating characters. I love finding out why they do what they do.
Giving a villain depth doesn't necessarily mean that I'm erasing what they do. I know that they didn't have to continue the cycle of abuse. I know that they didn't have to join the system that destroyed them. I know.
But, they did. And the finding out why? That is my favorite part.
Why did they join them?
And, if you have a problem with me exploring that question, you can just hop on over to someone else's blog.
No hard feelings, no harm done.
I don't want to be afraid of what my friends are going to think or say when I post something. I don't want fights or conflicts in my notifs.
I just want us to have fun talking about dumb little tapping queer-coded newsboys.
Y'all please just let everyone have fun writing what makes them happy.
If it doesn't make you happy, just scroll past it.
Please
So my sky au
Ranting time
Its like a successor au. The trials of prophecy are how a skykid is chosen for each realm to be taught by the current elder. Every generation has different abilities with light. As the skykid grows up, they eventually lose the ability to fly and can take off their cape.
I have the valley apprentices designed but it might change later on because its a little too simple for me
Before the twins there was only one valley elder but because the realm is used to having both of them, Samekh decided to choose two skykids (after some convincing of the other elders)
Skykids wear similar outfits to their mentors during their apprenticeship but when they’ve grown up they have the option to change their outfit but must stick with it after they choose what they want. They cant change again.
A skykid is chosen every 100 years (cuz yes) and trained for as long as needed since everyone learns differently. But there is a set date for when the elders pass their status on. If one skykid isnt ready by then, the date is pushed back for about 2 weeks.
To fit in with my journey samekh hc, the skykid the last elder chose backed down just weeks before the ceremony and there wasnt enough time to choose another. Because Samekh was already being trained to be a priest when they fell, they took their place, only being needed to be taught about the light, the realms and their responsibility as elder.
And since skykids didnt exist for a period of time, the elders were made by megabird before everything went wrong. The elders post-game have been there for far more years than they shouldve because of megabird giving up on the ancestors. (Samekh shows up before this being trained alongside daleth, ayin, teth, tsadi and lamed) They had started losing hope waiting for so long until the first star fell and more and more skykids showed up. Sir Prophecy and his prophets were recruited to test a chosen group and the best of the best were chosen as apprentices.
Its still a little in progress but i have a solid idea of where i want this to go. I probably wont make a fanfic since i have one im working on rn. So instead cuz i like sharing things i love, you can ask the apprentices and elders stuff, kinda like an askblog. All elders are open and only the valley apprentices are open rn. Art wont be in every answer cuz im lazy and currently packing. ^^
I feel like having a mental breakdown today can people just please STOP attacking Big Hero 6 and Big Hero 6 the Series and let us enjoy things?!
listen this website sucks but at least before they eliminated porn it was significantly better than twitter
twitter’s layout sucks
i can’t search tags on my home page
you can’t really tag shit in general (i mean not the way you do on tumblr and personaly i like that way far more)
like if i wanna go back and search for a post on my blog i still can but on twitter you can’t do that
also their tagging system sucks in general
limited words per post
like what is that shit
i mean i get it it’s ki— no no the more i think about it “read more” on tumblr is better
just
why do so many people like twitter????
this is like when i was in high school first hearing about facebook and trying to wrap my head around why people like facebook so much and i still don’t fucking understand it??? no usernames??? weak. that’s how twitter feels to me.
What AU is haze from? :0
i don't have a name for it lmao
godverse? god utmv??
everyone there has a specific role and order- kind of like greek mythology style, but without the technical-incest
like- fog's haze (his full name) is all about the abyss- the beyond. The Thing That Lurks, essentially, so his presence is usually eerie (he's genuinely just a chill guy until you push him though)
his brother, dawn's light (dream) is more of a swapdream lmao- he's got wings. he's what you can see- the Light That Brings Knowledge.
u can feel free to ask about the others btw!
There’s nothing more satisfying than going to a place like Starbucks that asks for your name with no consequence.

“Why do fanfic writers always ask for comments?”
I cant speak for everyone, obviously, but I can say I didn’t understand it until I started writing fanfics, myself.
In short? It makes us feel good. It means that something that I’ve written has been read by someone who could live thousands of miles away, and they liked it enough to write a couple sentences telling me that.
But, it’s more than that.
When I get a comment on a fic, I get so excited. I’m just as excited to read a comment on a fic as I am a new book or a new fic.
On bad days, I go back and read them. Because, at least in that moment, I meant something to that commenter. Whether it was inclusion of mental or physical ailments, or the situation in the story, or some other reason.
Someone saw something in me
And it’s hard to remember that sometimes.
