Battle damage week for @weeklymagmas 💥 tbh I had wanted to do something more elaborate and detailed and clean for this theme bc I was excited about it, but my irl job needed me to do art stuff for them and I had to split my focus so ;;;;; I didn’t get to plan ahead for an actual composition, so I just kinda went with what I was thinking of in the moment and speedran hdkdjdkdk
I know everyone in that magma was sipping that evil juice and bloodying them up but I went a different route (which is quite the out of character moment for me bc I LOVE inflicting pain on my blorbos) bc I really wanted to practice more like fluid and dynamic posing :D I had asked the blog like MONTHS ago if there could be a theme where the focus was like fight scenes and dynamic poses and stuff, and they said this theme would be the one to do that in. So I was like YAYYYYY :DDDD I can draw them KILLING. ….but then real life job. GRR. BARK. So I speedran the first one with Leo and Raph and just tried my damndest not to give a fuck about cleaning it up, and then the second one with Donnie and Mikey I kinda just like,,, ran out of steam admittedly bc I was like ohgh god,,,, I have to work on work shit,,,, oughh,,, HDKSJFKS I wanted to color them in and give them shitty airbrush lighting too but alas…… or alack. Bc apparently that’s a word.
(Btw I did make some callbacks to other ideas that I had sprinkled in various magmas :D if you notice any :3)
