Question, how fast are scorpions? Like are they a "leave the room to go get a cup or container to catch it" type of guy or a "if you take your eyes of this mother fucked for 1 second it is going to Disappear" type of guy
its either/or- scorpions rely on camouflage and hiding in the wild. these are scorpions that blend in perfectly with bark and leaf litter. if you startle it it WILL run, but if you walk calmly to go get tweezers/dustpan you can successfully yoink ‘em
i usually use tweezers to remove scorpions- i grab them by the tail and either put them outside or in a glass jar to take to my entomology professor.

and my only defense is that ive only been stung 3 times and only 2 of those have resulted in hospitalization. and not only was i barefoot but i was also naked
my cat also alerts me to scorpions. he got stung on the paw once so now when he finds one he meows while keeping an eye on it. he’s a perfect scorpion hunter
