Hey witchblr family! I have a follower who asked me a question and no spell is coming to mind. Not sure if there is a spell, I know of non spell ways to help out - but wanted to check before I spoke :)

Are there any basic spells to keep an animal (pet) from going places they shouldn’t be? Or are there any spells for maybe like a barrier around you for non threatening reasons? Not protective - but basically they would like to know how to keep their animal from coming up to them too much while they’re trying to focus/practice their craft. 

Any suggestions, other than normal every day pet training?

Spice up Spell work Question

This morning I created a new sigil for a situation my brother is facing; I really enjoy sigil magick almost as much as candle magick because both are pretty simple, as far as spell work goes, to learn and both are pretty accurate in their outcomes.  Now, I added a couple of new touches to my sigil activation because I felt compelled to do so and I don't like to go against intuition because to me, it feels a lot like a deity speaking to me or a spirit guide, guiding me in the correct direction. I not only lit my candle but I sprinkled a little bit of cinnamon on the candle while invoking the god and goddess of good fortune and prosperity and then I added a dash of cinnamon to the sigil itself before burning it.  After I was done, I had a very peaceful feeling and that's usually a sign that it's going to work out correctly.   The reason I post this is to pose a question to the group.  What do you do, when you're working a spell of any kind, to give it an extra oompf as well as an idea that may have come to you "out of the blue" while you were performing the spell? I think this may just give some great conversations and new ideas to others :)

Maybe I've asked this before, but anyone know of any use for fireplace ash? We cleaned the fireplace out tonight and I saved a goodish sized bottle of ash. I'm thinking it will be good in some protection charms for the house, or even the pets. Any other ideas?
