Ariya's spellcard 月符「錦の上のイマジナリー」 Moon Sign "Imaginary Atop the Brocade" has a blue background on Easy mode, but a red one on Normal, Hard and Lunatic.
In Fossilized Wonders, Yuiman's spellcard background from stage 4 consists of two textures: one depicting some cloudy hills and another one showing numbers (left side gif).
During the Extra stage, the cloudy hills texture is not used anymore, making the stage background visible instead. This determines the spellcard to look quite differently in Spell Practice (right side gif) compared to how you'd encounter it while playing the Extra stage as usual (middle gif).
However, the numbers texture is still present during the Extra stage, but it has a different orientation: it seems that it is displayed in a circular pattern as opposed to the flat appearance from stage 4.
If you alt+tab during Koishi's second survival spellcard from Subterranean Animism while playing in fullscreen, you can get back the regular spellcard background instead of having the black one. This was pointed out by Bravidunno at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiHvDybn2Hs.
It seems this also works if you play in window mode and maximize to full screen.
When you look at Utsuho Reiuji's and Keiki Haniyasushin's spellcard backgrounds there doesn't seem to be anything in common.
But one of Keiki's background textures can be found on Utsuho's.
In Keiki's case, the texture is so distorted in-game that's impossible to notice it with the naked eye. It's noticeable if you look into the game files.
Junko has two solo spellcards during the extra stage of Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom. At the beginning of those spellcards, her portrait is shown, but the spellcard background is that of Hecatia. She has her own spellcard background during stage 6.
Although it's using the exact same two textures, Ran Yakumo's spellcard background has a completely different colour in Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost compared to Shoot the Bullet.
The background is now blue, compared to it's previously dark orange tint. Also, the spinning texture seems to move slower in Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost.
Tewi Inaba's spellcard background from Phantasmagoria of Flower View and Shoot the Bullet has a frog with the same pose as the one from Suwako Moriya's dress.
