With these tasty Tandoori Chicken Tacos, you can give your tacos an Indian twist. Chicken marinated in tandoori spices is grilled until it's just right, then it's put in warm tortillas with fresh vegetables and a hint of lime.
Ingredients: 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1 cup plain yogurt. 2 tablespoons tandoori masala. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste. 1 teaspoon cumin powder. 1 teaspoon coriander powder. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder adjust to taste. Salt to taste. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 8 small flour tortillas. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced red onions. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. Lime wedges for garnish.
Instructions: Ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl to make the tandoori marinade. Coat the chicken pieces well with the marinade after you add them. Put it in the fridge with the lid on for at least two hours, or overnight for the best results. Warm up your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. To keep things from sticking, brush with vegetable oil. Put the chicken pieces that have been marinated on skewers and grill for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and has a little char on it. Get the tortillas warm on the grill for 30 seconds on each side until they are just barely toasty while the chicken is cooking. Put a small amount of grilled tandoori chicken on each tortilla to make the tacos. Shred lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, and chopped cilantro and put them on top. Add lime wedges to the tandoori chicken tacos to make them look nice. Enjoy your tacos with an Indian twist!
