If I had a penny for every time a girl fell in love with a guy from a different dimension and looked like a badass punk at a dance, I'd have two pennies, which isn't a lot but it's still strange it happened twice.
I never thought there would be a universe where I'd want to write a fix-it fic.... But I've been marinating this idea for close to a week now and I can't get my mind off of it.....
So I'll rant about it here, as broadly as I can:
- This is a scenario where child Doflamingo doesn't get the chance to kill his father, as Homing dies first. (Won't go into how, but it will be plot relevant) However, he still hatches the idea beforehand but keeps it a secret from Rosinante.
- Doflamingo and Rosinante stick together in the weeks following, barely surviving. In this AU, Doffy would still have been shot in the eye by the villagers in the lynching scene like in the anime. The wound becomes infected, weakening him significantly.
- A man from Flevance (OC & POV character) is selling Amber Lead products in a street stall. He sees a group beating the brothers and intervenes before Doffy can awaken his Conquerer's Haki. As a foreigner, he initially has no clue why the entire town is out for their blood, and begins looking out for them.
- Rosinante quickly grows attached, but Doflamingo is angry, distrustful, and still hell bent on figuring out a way to earn back his nobility status.
- The man also has his own reasons to not want to get too involved, but ends up getting pulled into their lives. Don't want to give away too much, but yes I've obsessed over this idea long enough to think of a full backstory for him. And yes, he is a future relative of Law.
- Would be a self-contained story in which the three slowly learn to trust each other, with Doflamingo and Rosinante rebuilding their relationship the best they can and getting some semblance of closure over their parents' deaths.
Extremely self indulgent, I know, but.... I really wanna write it 🙈🙈 And it's a good opportunity to incorporate the pages of Flevance headcanons that I've left collecting dust in my other drafts....
.....this is all to say, if you see me posting a Doffy fic in the near future, then that means I gave into the urge to see this out 🙈

Davis brothers ( Symbiote 1610 AU & Prowler 42 ) Short Headcanons
-After the events of the across/beyond the spider verse, Jefferson Morales accidentally traveled to earth 42 when he was done with his battle along with his son miles. before he went back to his home he saw a graffiti of himself who's already dead, as soon he glitched he realized that he wasn't supposed here because most people shouldn't be the diffident universes when there's already other versions of themselves.
-When he was trying to figure out how to get out of this universe, swinging building to building. Aaron saw him as a strange creature who came from nowhere. without calling out for 42 miles ( because he was busy at home ) he decided to suit up to find out his identity and starts to go after him
-however jeff has nowhere to escape ( because he didn't have the multiverse watch ) but when his spider sense called him he looked back and saw the prowler trying to catch him or knock him but before that he ducked his head very down and begin to run away
-Aaron was crushing him down and trying grip and forcing him to know the whole identity but jeff was struggling to escape from him but depends, he got crash down from again and again and got hold by the neck
-Before Aaron tries to end him, jeff has finally reveals his identity to him and soon as Aaron realize that he's "back to life" and slowly takes off his mask and made jeff realize that he's still alive. although they knew each other's identities as they burst out their tears as they hugged each other ( well they did missed each other after the past few years )
-jeff has told Aaron that he just came from another universe although Aaron thought he came to life after death before they went to Aaron's apartment to discuss what's happening. but Aaron didn't make an argument about this because he wasn't expected to understand
-jeff has hide himself with a hood without people knowing that he's still alive. he's been holding on to Aaron's hand for the whole reason
-They have the similar difference for violyn ( vi and Caitlyn ) from the arcane references unlike they met
-Jeff told Aaron about his symbiote story and canon event unlike miles' story and canon event, Aaron said that the black thing on his back looks like a parasite to him of course ( God i can't believe that i had no thought because my brain got nothing and that's all, shoot. )
