Chaos Theory wip

Darius, Ben, and Sammy end up searching out Felix (unaware that Kash is alive at all) for some kind of information regarding what's going on. Haven't fleshed that out yet. But here's a comic wip of Darius confronting Kash about the island and everything that happened. Felix, Ben, and Sammy are at the opposite end of the porch, quietly conversing, and a little nervous about the conversation.

I'm trying to work on some of my Chaos Theory ideas, including a comic of Kash and Darius.

I know I want the N6 to end up searching out Felix for information, they don't realize Kash is alive. They end up staying at Felix's cabin for a couple of days to rest and recover. The N6 aren't ALL there I just haven't decided who is vs isn't. I gotta figure out a time frame and where that would fall for how the groups are split up.

I'm still trying to figure out what the reason would be that they have to seek Felix out. I kind of feel like it might have to do with Daniel because they think Brooklynn and Daniel were involved in illegal dinosaur trading. Or maybe it goes even more canon divergent and they find one of the chips somehow?? It's really muddy as far as that right now, I'm still figuring it out.

But I really want there to be a scene where everyone is on the wraparound porch of Felix's cabin. Everyone would be with Felix, talking and probably eating/drinking. Kash would be away from the group, by himself smoking. He's not super comfortable with the situation for obvious reasons so he's just avoiding contact for the most part. Felix notices that Darius' eyes shift to Kash more than a few times. While Felix doesn't say anything, he does subtly encourage Darius to talk to Kash. So Darius breaks off from the group to confront him.

Kash is leaning against the railing, looking out at the creek running behind the cabin. When Darius approaches him, he doesn't acknowledge him outside of a sideways glance. Darius leans against the railing as well and it's just quiet for a few moments before either of them actually speak.

Finally Kash talks first

"I hope you're not looking for an apology."

Which Darius does Not care for. He watches Kash take a draw from his joint, which Kash then offers to him. Darius would look between the joint and Kash, obviously angry, he doesn't take the joint.

Kash just shrugs and takes another hit. "Suit yourself."

Darius is in disbelief and says "After everything you did you're not even going--"

Kash cuts him off with "Not gonna what, kid? Not gonna piss on you and call it rain?" Kash waits for a response but Darius just glares at him. "Look, kid, there's no apology I could give you that would matter. Would you even accept it if I did?"

Darius' expression would turn more sombre and he'd just sigh and say "I guess not."

Kash has undergone a lot of cognitive empathy training over the years. So he knows what he did was wrong and why it traumatized Darius. But he also knows that an apology could never be enough to make amends or fix anything.

I never noticed but in jwcc (and jwct too actually) both yasammy and benrius have like these.. moments where one of them is falling of a cliff or elevated platform and the other saves them with one hand, like- this is there in jwct too but different

Not connected to the post but wow uh look at the way they look at each other.

Both yaz and sammy have dragged their partner into a moving vehicle in JWCT, and in CC too during the indominous ambush, where yaz grabbed sammy to prevent her form falling. Theres more but i do not remember so.. my point is that's very similar to benrius. Yeah.

Couldn't find any more gifs concerning my case but hopefully u get it.
