Just answered another ask about that one but here is more info! Tommy is now Spider-Man, and lives with Phil and Techno as his sort of emotionally absent parent and brother, Wilbur and his mom are both dead but also sorta like relevant in terms of character development. The story focuses on Tommy’s first big mission about a dark project a science facility is secretly doing, and Tommy is unfortunately uncovering a bit more than he might be able to handle uh oh

I love that the general consensus of the spiderinnit fanartists is that he wears a hoodie over his suit

I like to think he just never takes it off, like

Tommy: *yes my suit is indestructible and my hoodie is not, but I’ll be damned if I get a nick in it*

And then the only reason he protects his torso in fights is so that he doesn’t have to explain to his family (sbi) why he’s having to hand-mend another hoodie they bought him

Tommy Innes Soot is pretty average, just a normal highschooler. He recently moved in with his older brother, who is also his English teacher, and doesn't really do much outside of going to school and hanging out with his friends.

He's heard some stuff about some guy calling himself 'Ramulus' causing problems in other parts of the city, but he really doesn't care about it; doesn't change anything in his life if the cops are stuck dealing with some dude stealing from corporations and shit.

But what happens when he's bitten by a spider on an, admittedly questionable, fieldtrip to a genetic testing lab? What comes next when he finds out he can shoot webs from his wrists?

Insanity, that's what.

i don't actually know alot about spiderman lore? mcu or comic spiderman. i just know the vibes and basic origin story

but some of the homies were upset about Guided Evolution getting nuked and, while I stopped reading that one ages ago and never got back to it before it exploded, i said i'd make something to fill the spiderinnit-shaped void left by that
