re: your last anon, i stopped enjoying the source material when i finished the 7th book. i still participated in the fandom for a while but when Snape, an entire adult that bullied a child because his dead mom rejected him, got a redemption arc while draco malfoy, literal child manipulated and groomed from birth, didn't, that was my breaking point after what are frankly not very well written books. like. they're just not good writing wise or plot wise

OH YEAH, Snape was a huge part of my dislike of the books. I feel like his arc could have been so much better in more responsible hands.
