Peter Parker before the spider bite
No but imagine that’s him when uncle Ben dies :(
”Happy Mothers Day, aunt May! I know I never called you mom but that doesn’t change the fact that you were a mother figure to me.” Peter lays down the card he’d made for her next to the flowers on the grave.
Peter Parker has always been red. At first it was a light red, tinted orange. It was just as bright and bubbly as the young Peter was. Full of light and joy and life. It was the same color as his hero‘s suit.
With his parent’s death the red darkened, matured with Peter. The yellow tint got lost, it was pure, bright red now. It was still joyful and light, it just knew that darkness exists now.
Years later, the red changed again. It became a red the whole city would know soon: the famous red of Spider-Man. What the citizens knew as a red that meant help and salvation was originally a raging and angry red. A red, longing for revenge for his murdered uncle.
After his mentor’s death the red faded a little, became less bright. Hopelessness started to grow, but there were still enough people left to love.
Instead of fading more, the red got darker when his aunt died. There was so much grief and guilt and anger that consumed it, consumed him. It almost didn’t look like red anymore. It was just a ripped off version of what it once was.
Peter Parker has always been red. The red had changed over the years, had turned and darkened. It is now a red he knows far too good. It is the same red as on his hands, the same red as on the body next to him, the same red as the blood he bleeds day for day.
so irl it would be impossible to get spider powers from the bite of a radioactive spider… does this mean that physics and chemistry works completely differently in the mcu?
do you think if May was still alive, Peter would still be ready to make everyone forget him? Even his aunt? The person that knew him since he was six?
And if yes, do you think Peter would check in on her every day, would talk to her in the hope that she’d recognise his voice, that she’d remember having a kid? Do you think he would stop the talking at some point and only watch her from afar because seeing her having no clue who he is hurts too bad? That he becomes her kind of guardian angel because being close hurts but not seeing her at all, not knowing if she’s alright, hurts even more?
I felt the need to bring this up again because it’s Irondad content and because Irondad will never happen again let’s appreciate it
So we can all agree that the trailer is peak and we’re all looking forward to BND right?
Cause I sure as hell am! I’m so hyped! I literally annoyed three friends plus my family and they all got to hear my seven thousand theories and hopes for that movie…
I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t get to see Sadie’s role yet, I need to know who she is to make better theories!
Anyway the trailer looks so good! I like MJ a lot in it, also the whole thing kinda reminds me of Comic Spidey which is very positive! And Peter being all grown up and alone and sad… it breaks my heart but it’s so damn peak! I love me some hurt spidey ngl.
I’m still sad that the home is missing tho!
