After years of saying, “I bet I can make that!” and then not following through, I am determined to finally make all the things so my Auntie can stop with the “yeah, when you gonna.” First I will make her eat her words ... in pancake form and then I will begin my journey of creativity and make all the things!
I just used a plain box pancake mix, nothing fancy for the batter. I used a squeezy bottle for better control (a pipping bag or plastic bag with a hole in one corner theoretically would work as well) and basically made pancakes as box instructed. I did eventually end up writing the letters backwards so that they would come out more even, but I did try it out front ways first. All in all it was quite the experience as I do not make pancakes often. I ended up with about 40 minutes of footage which I condensed into an almost 20 minute video.
