I’m so glad people are starting to talk about splatoon 3’s ranking system and how it can basically put a way higher ranking person with a low ranking team or opponents. I saw a lot of x rank badges in S and A ranks and I’d loose almost every time they weren’t on my team. I really hope the system will maybe get a rework because it felt way better in splatoon 2. Now you can just de rank and stay in like A rank and get matched up with easier competition while actual A rankers can’t even enjoy playing the game

I’m genuinely addicted to ranked, so it’s important for me to at least get matched up with people around my skill level

I have a question for Splatoon 3 S Rank players

I just got to S Rank. When the season resets and my rank gets put back to A+, do I have to pass the Rank Up Battles again?

Big Run, was a bit of a let down. It felt more like a unique stage with a wild card than a full blown apocalyptic event. I wish they had included new mechanics like making the overrun stage similar to a shifty station (each one got unique features that will massively change the way you approach a level) or even include a new king salmonoid (which I hope they do next big run).

My first hope was also that I could make my own weapon rotation too. Because, the nozzle for me isn’t a good salmon run weapon. It also removed the feeling of “SQUIDSUS CHRIST THE ENEMY IS COMING! DO YOUR BEST TO PROTECT YOURSELF” vibes.
