mechanic!dean and lawyer!sam both never been close, both had their own life away from eachother. Complicated relationship growing up. Always dean(and sam) throwing jabs at the other. but until dean begins being weird and sam feeling confused

this opens a door to a thing both of them never wanted but can’t help but feel because in every universe they’re bound to happen. sam feeling so disoriented because he has this amazing life, recently engaged to the love of his life, successful career

But why when his older brother who he never had practically liked caresses his nape and says “Sammy” so casually while passing by, makes his stupid heart flutter. Sam is sitting on the couch, eyebrows furrowed, and not noticing jess(the love of his life!!) who is trying to get his attention

i think we should have a fic where season 2 dean, who just found out his father wanted sam dead because he's "dangerous," meets season 13 dean, who wants jack dead because he's "dangerous." and s2 dean can't understand for the life of him how he got this way, what his future self could possibly be thinking to condemn a child that hasn't yet done anything wrong, and then s13 dean shouts, "he's a monster!" and s2 sam, who's been by dean's side this whole time, goes deadly quiet. and then s2 dean beats the shit out of his future self
