how do you know Spock was emotionally compromised in ‘09? He put Jim’s ass in an escape pod and sent him to Delta Vega. Did he just, put him in the brig like a normal person dealing with an insubordinate crew member? No, he went max drama and ejected him off the ship, in the middle of a war with a technologically superior ship onto a nearby planet (after just witnessing planet destructive powers) with dangerous fauna to presumably just be left there until? God knows when.
