"Good morning, everyone... welcome back to our channel," Azzi whispers, her voice barely above a rasp as she adjusts the camera angle. The lens flares slightly against the dim, blue light of the early morning. "I’m trying to keep it down because it is currently 5:43 AM. We have a huge day ahead, but right now... the world is still quiet."
She tilts the camera downward, revealing Paige sound asleep, her head tucked firmly into the crook of Azzi’s neck. Paige’s arm is draped across Azzi’s waist, pulling her close in a heavy, subconscious cuddle that anchors them both to the bed.
"As you can see, Paige is still completely out," Azzi murmurs with a soft, sleepy smile, brushing a stray lock of hair away from Paige’s forehead. "She had a late practice last night, so I’m letting her get every minute of rest she can. But today is about to be a whirlwind. We’re taking you guys through everything from the morning coffee run and team meetings to some behind the scenes chaos you usually don't see."
Azzi carefully shifts, trying not to disturb the peace, as she looks directly into the lens.
"Today isn't just about the grind, though. It’s about the balance. The workouts, the meetings, and the quiet moments like this before the sun even comes up. So, grab your coffee, get comfortable, and come along with us. This is a day in our life."
She reaches out and taps the screen, the frame fading to a fast-paced montage of a buzzing alarm clock, a splashing face-wash routine, and the first golden rays of the sun hitting the pavement. Azzi slides out of bed with practiced stealth, her feet hitting the cool hardwood floor. She pauses for a heartbeat, watching the steady rise and fall of Paige’s shoulders to make sure she hasn’t woken her. Satisfied, she tiptoes over to the dresser, the floorboards creaking ever so slightly under her weight.
She pulls out a crisp, oversized white tee—thick cotton, perfectly lived-in—and a pair of light-wash distressed jeans that she drapes over her arm. Checking the time on her phone again, she grabs her vlog camera and heads toward the ensuite bathroom, the hallway lights still dimmed.
Once inside, she sets the camera on the marble vanity, the bright bathroom lights reflecting in the mirror and making her squint. She turns on the shower, the sound of rushing water filling the small space and creating a pocket of steam that starts to fog the glass.
"Alright, the water is warming up," she says, leaning into the frame as she ties her hair back into a messy bun. "I’m going to jump in, do a quick skincare routine, and get this day actually started. I’ve got a long list of things to get done before Paige even opens her eyes, so I need to move fast. I’m going to take a shower and I’m going to get back with y'all when I’m done and dressed."
She gives a quick peace sign to the lens before reaching forward to cut the recording, the screen clicking to black as the steam continues to rise. The camera cuts back in to show Azzi, her hair wrapped in a fresh towel and her skin glowing from the steam. She carries the camera over to her vanity, the legs of the tripod clicking as she sets it down on the glass surface. With a quick tap, the ring light around her mirror hums to life, flooding the room with a bright, professional glow that catches the gold accents on her desk.
"Okay guys, I'm back and feeling like a human again," she says, leaning in to check her reflection. "I’m feanna do my skincare and a little makeup nothing too crazy, just the 'everyday' look because we have a lot of moving around to do."
She reaches under the vanity and heaves a heavy, overstuffed makeup bag onto the table. The sound of clinking glass bottles and palettes shuffling fills the audio as she unzips it, revealing a mountain of products.
"You guys always ask about my glow, so I'm going to show you the routine," she explains, pulling out a toner and a jade roller. "First, we have to prep the base. If the skin isn't right, the makeup isn't going to sit right."
She starts dabbing on her serums with practiced movements, occasionally glancing toward the bedroom door to make sure the hair dryer or the light hasn't woken Paige up yet.
"I’m keeping it light today just some concealer, brows, and a little lip gloss. I want to look awake, even if I’ve only been up for an hour." She starts lining up her favorite brushes in a neat row. "Let’s get into it."Azzi leans into the mirror, carefully swiping on a shimmering gloss to finish the look. She gives her reflection a satisfied nod, her hair styled in a sleek high bun with bouncy, defined curls cascading down the sides.
"Okay, I’m done!" she says, flashing a bright smile at the camera as she stands up. She steps back to give the viewers the full "fit check," smoothing down the crisp white tee tucked perfectly into her jeans. "Simple, clean, and cute for the day."
She reaches onto the vanity and picks up a delicate, sparkling bracelet. A soft, knowing look crosses her face as she snaps the clasp shut around her wrist, the metal catching the bright vanity lights.
"I can't forget this," she murmurs, holding her wrist up so the camera can see the detail. "This is the one Paige got me when we went to the mall the other day. It literally goes with everything, so it’s definitely a staple now."
She grabs the camera, turning the lens
"Let's go on downstairs and fix breakfast," Azzi says with a smile, whispering so she doesn't wake Paige as she slips out of the room. She moves quietly down the stairs, the camera capturing the morning light stretching across the living room floor.
At the bottom of the steps, she’s met with the sound of a wagging tail thumping against a plastic tray. Max is already awake and waiting patiently.
"Good morning, buddy," she coos, setting the camera on the kitchen island so it faces his crate. She reaches down and unlatches the door. "Say hi, Maxie!"
Max trots out, stretching his front paws forward with a big yawn before nudging Azzi’s hand. She laughs, patting his head and scratching behind his ears. "Go outside," she tells him, pointing toward the back of the house. Max doesn't need to be told twice; he trots straight to the back door, his nails clicking on the hardwood. Azzi lets him out into the yard and watches him run into the grass for a second before sliding the door shut.
"Okay, now that Max is handled, it’s time for the most important part of the morning," she says, turning back to the kitchen and rubbing her hands together. "Breakfast. I want to have something ready for Paige by the time she smells the coffee and finally decides to join the land of the living.""Alexa, play 'Snooze' by SZA," Azzi calls out, her voice a bit more lively now that she’s downstairs.
"Finding 'Snooze' by SZA on YouTube," the device responds. The smooth, melodic intro starts to fill the kitchen, the bass thumping softly against the marble countertops. Azzi can't help herself she starts swaying to the beat, using a spatula as a makeshift microphone for a second before she gets to work.
"This is the vibe," she says to the camera, propping it up near the stove so the viewers get a clear shot of the cooking process. "You can't start a productive day without the right playlist. SZA just hits different in the morning."
She cracks a couple of eggs into a bowl, the sizzle of the bacon already providing a savory backup beat to the music. She’s moving with rhythm now, whisking the eggs in time with the song while keeping an eye on the toast popping up in the toaster. The kitchen starts to smell amazing—that perfect mix of brewing coffee and crispy bacon that's guaranteed to travel all the way upstairs.
"I'm trying to be fancy with the plating today," she laughs, flipping a piece of bacon. "Usually, we’re just grabbing something on the way to the gym or the facility, but since I actually have a head start, I'm doing it right."
She hums along to the chorus, glancing toward the stairs every few seconds to see if the smell of breakfast has finally summoned Paige from her slumber. the floorboards at the top of the stairs finally creak. Azzi is right in the middle of plating the eggs when she hears the slow, heavy footsteps of someone who is definitely not a morning person.
Paige wanders into the kitchen, her hair a bit messy from sleep and her eyes still half-closed. She walks straight over to the stove, sliding her arms around Azzi’s waist from behind and leaning in.
"Good morning," Paige mumbles, her voice deep and thick with that heavy morning rasp. She plants a lingering kiss on Azzi’s cheek, resting her chin on her shoulder for a second to see what’s in the pan.
Azzi melts into the touch, leaning her head back against Paige with a grin. "Look who finally decided to join us! I thought you were going to sleep until noon."
"Smells too good for all that," Paige grunts softly, her eyes finally landing on the camera propped up on the counter. She gives a small, sleepy wave to the lens, not quite ready for the full vlog energy yet but acknowledging the "family" anyway.
"Sit down, baby, I'm just putting the finishing touches on," Azzi says, patting Paige’s arm. "Coffee is already poured. How’d you sleep?""Good," Paige murmurs, the word vibrating with a deep, sleepy resonance as she pulls a chair out and sinks into it. She leans her head on her hand, her eyes following Azzi’s every move with a quiet, appreciative gaze. Azzi just hums a melodic response, moving with the confident rhythm of someone who knows they’ve just crushed a mission.
The kitchen is filled with the warm, savory aroma of the breakfast spread. Azzi carefully plates the fluffy scrambled eggs next to the golden-brown toast and the perfectly crisped bacon. Before setting the plates down, she picks up the camera, bringing it in close for a high-definition "food porn" shot.
"Okay, guys, wait... look at the material," Azzi says, her voice full of playful pride. She tilts the plate so the light catches the steam rising from the eggs. "Look how this looks! You honestly cannot tell me I didn't eat this up. The presentation? Ten out of ten. The vibes? Immaculate." She lets out a bright, infectious giggle, clearly feeling herself after a successful morning in the kitchen.
She slides the first plate in front of Paige, along with a steaming mug of coffee exactly how she likes it.
"Thank you, bae," Paige says, her voice still holding that morning edge but softening as she looks up at Azzi. She reaches out, her fingers brushing against Azzi’s hand as she takes the plate, and for a second, the vlog feels completely private.
Azzi grabs her own plate and joins her at the table, setting the camera up so it captures both of them in the frame.
The clinking of silverware against ceramic replaces the music for a moment as they dive in. Paige takes a large bite, nods her head in approval, and lets out a satisfied sigh that tells Azzi everything she needs to know. They eat in that comfortable, easy silence that only comes from being completely in sync, the morning light finally pouring through the windows to start their day for real. Once the plates were cleared, the morning routine shifted into its usual fluid rhythm.
Paige took over at the sink, the sound of rushing water and the clink of silverware filling the kitchen as she methodically rinsed the dishes. Meanwhile, Azzi headed to the back door, sliding it open to let Max back inside. He bounded in, tongue lolling and tail wagging with post-patrol energy, heading straight for his bowls. Azzi bent down, refilling his water to the brim and scooping a fresh serving of kibble, watching him dive in before she stood back up and leaned against the counter.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Azzi asked, adjusting the camera on its tripod to catch both of them in the frame.
Paige dried her hands on a kitchen towel, leaning back against the sink as she checked the schedule in her head. "I’ve got basketball practice this afternoon, and then a team meeting right after," she said, her eyes locking onto Azzi’s. The sleepy rasp in her voice was fading, replaced by the focused tone she usually carried into the facility. "It’s going to be a long one. We’re breaking down film from the last game, so I probably won't be out until late."
Azzi nodded, a small thoughtful hum escaping her as she processed the timing. "Mm, well, I’ve got to get to work today too. I have some content to edit and a few meetings of my own." She tapped her chin, a spark of an idea hitting her.
"Maybe I’ll meet up with KK then. She’s been texting me about that new spot that opened up, and I haven't seen her in a few days. It'll give me a chance to get out of the house while you’re grinding at the gym."
"That's a move," Paige agreed, a supportive smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Tell KK I said what's up. Just don't let her keep you out too late—I’m gonna need some of that energy when I get home."
Azzi giggled, blowing a playful kiss toward Paige before turning back to the camera. "You heard her, guys. The hustle doesn't stop. We're about to split up and conquer the day, but I’m definitely taking y'all along for the ride with KK later. It's about to be a vibe.""Don't work too hard, bae," Azzi says, leaning in to give Paige one last lingering kiss before they head their separate ways.
"You already know how I play," Paige says with a confident smirk, watching Azzi grab her keys. "Be safe out there."
Azzi heads out to the driveway, the morning air feeling fresh and crisp. She hops into her car, the leather seats still cool, and immediately gets to work setting the scene. She props her phone up on the dashboard mount, adjusting it until she gets the perfect angle of the steering wheel and the road ahead.
"Alright guys, we are officially on the move," she says, glancing at the lens as she pulls out of the driveway. "The sun is finally up, the playlist is hitting, and I’m headed to get some work done before I meet up with KK. It’s a busy one, but we’re making it happen."
She shifts into gear and drives off, the camera capturing the blur of the neighborhood trees passing by in the background. coffee," Azzi says, glancing at the camera with a playful 'don't judge me' look. "I know I had some at home, but I need that extra boost to get through these edits and my meeting with KK."
She pulls into the drive-thru lane, the familiar green siren logo looming ahead. The line is moving quickly, and soon she’s pulling up to the speaker box.
"Hi, welcome to Starbucks! Will you be using your mobile app today?" the cashier’s voice crackles through the speaker.
"No ma'am," Azzi says into the receiver, already reaching for her wallet. She looks back at the lens while she waits for the prompt to order. "I’m old school today, guys. Sometimes the app just does too much when I’m in a rush."
She leans out the window to place her order—something iced and caffeinated to keep the energy high. "Can I get a Venti Iced White Mocha with extra caramel drizzle, please? And maybe a cake pop... for the road."
She rolls the window up and inches forward in the line. "Don't tell Paige about the cake pop," she whispers to the camera, giggling. "She’s all about that 'athlete diet' right now, but your girl needs a little treat to start the workday.""Okay, your total will be $8.45," the cashier says through the speaker, her voice competing with the upbeat R&B track still thumping softly from Azzi’s car speakers.
"Perfect, thank you!" Azzi replies, pulling her car forward to the window. She glances at the camera propped on her dashboard, giving the lens a knowing look. "See, this is why I can't come here every day. Eight dollars for a little bit of caffeine and a sugar rush? The math is not mathing, but the cravings are definitely craving."
She reaches into her center console and pulls out her wallet, sliding out her card. As she waits for the car in front to move, she adjusts her high bun in the rearview mirror, making sure those side curls she worked so hard on are still bouncing.
"I'm really out here doing the most before 8:00 AM," she whispers to the vlog, her eyes scanning the parking lot. "But if I don't get this sugar in my system, these emails I have to send later are going to be real dry. And we don't do dry energy on this channel."
She pulls up to the window, flashes a bright, polite smile at the barista, and hands over her card. "Thank you so much, honey. Have a blessed morning!"
A moment later, she’s handed a tall, sweating cup marbled with thick caramel drizzle and a little pink-wrapped cake pop. She holds the drink up to the camera lens so the viewers can see the layers of cream and espresso.
"Look at that marble effect," she says, sounding genuinely impressed. She takes a long, dramatic sip, her eyes widening as the sugar hits. "Oh yeah. That’s the one. Azzi drives with one hand on the wheel, her iced mocha tucked into the cup holder as she continues to chat with the camera. Suddenly, the car's Bluetooth cuts the music with a bright chime, and the dashboard screen lights up: FaceTime call from My Baby 🫶🏾🥹.
"Oh, look who it is already," Azzi says to the lens, a huge grin spreading across her face. "She can't stay away from me for even twenty minutes."
The car's voice assistant chimes in: "Do you want to answer the phone?"
"Yes," Azzi answers immediately. "Hello?"
"Hey bae," Paige’s voice fills the car, still carrying a bit of that relaxed, post-breakfast energy.
"Hey! What you doing?" Azzi asks, glancing briefly at the screen before focusing back on the road.
"Nothing much, just in the room putting on my gym jerseys," Paige replies. In the background of the call, Azzi can hear the rustle of athletic fabric and the sound of a sports bag being zipped up. "But I called to ask what we’re eating today. Do I need to take some out the fridge before I head to the facility?"
Azzi hums, thinking through their meal prep while she navigates a turn. "Hmm, good call. We actually have those steaks we bought the other day. Can you pull those out so they can thaw? I was thinking we could do steak, asparagus, and maybe some garlic mashed potatoes when we both get back tonight."
"Say less, I got you," Paige says. "Steaks are coming out now. You be safe driving, alright? Don't be too distracted by that camera."
"I'm a professional, Paige!" Azzi laughs, blowing a kiss toward the dashboard. "I'll text you later. Love you!"
"Love you too," Paige says before the call disconnects.
Azzi looks back at her vlog camera, shaking her head. "See? This what I go through azzi said giggle engine, making sure to angle the camera so the building's sign stays completely out of the frame. "Okay guys, we are here. I can't show y'all exactly where I’m at—gotta keep some things private for the safety and the vibes—but we are about to get this work in."
She hops out of the car, grabbing her iced mocha and her bag, and head inside the sleek, modern lobby. As soon as she swipes her badge and walks through the glass doors, she spots a familiar face.
"Hey! Look who it is!" Azzi says, turning the camera toward a stylish woman walking toward her with a stack of papers. "Hi, Nika boo! Say hi to the vlog!"
Nika looks up, her face lighting up with a huge grin as she strikes a quick pose for the lens. "Hey, y'all! Welcome to the day in the life of the hardest worker I know," Nika says with a laugh, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
"Stop playing," Azzi giggles, adjusting the camera so they're both in the shot. "Nika is literally the only reason I stay sane in this building. We have a mountain of edits and meetings to get through before I can even think about lunch."
"And you already know we’re gonna crush it," Nika adds, giving Azzi a quick side-hug. "Now put that camera away for a second so we can actually get to this first meeting. The boss is already in the conference room."
"You heard her, guys," Azzi whispers to the camera, giving a little pout. "Duty calls. I'm going to lock in for a few hours and then I'll catch up with y'all when I’m headed to meet KK. Wish me luck!"
She reaches out and taps the screen, the frame cutting to black as she and Nika head down the hallway. After the meeting wrapped up, Azzi stepped out into the crisp afternoon air, the glass doors of the office building clicking shut behind her. She adjusted the strap of her designer tote and fumbled with her camera, finally getting the lens focused as she began walking toward the parking structure.
"I’m back! Did y'all miss me?" Azzi said jokingly, a playful spark in her eyes as she checked her reflection in the camera screen. "The meeting was a whole vibe—lots of big things coming, but I can't spill the tea just yet. Right now, I'm feanna go pick up KK. We have some serious catching up to do and I know she's probably already waiting on me."
She reached her car, unlocked it with a quick chirp of the alarm, and hopped into the driver's seat. After propping her camera up on the dashboard mount and ensuring the lighting from the windshield was hitting her makeup just right, she pulled out of the lot and merged into the midday traffic.
"Hi siri call KK 🏀💚," Azzi commanded, her eyes staying on the road while she navigated the busy streets.
"Calling KK 🏀💚," the car’s system responded in its calm, digital tone.
The ringing tone echoed through the car speakers for only a second before the line clicked open. "Hello?" KK’s voice boomed through the car, sounding energetic and punctuated by the distant sound of a basketball bouncing on a court.
"Hey girl! I just got out of my meeting," Azzi said, leaning slightly toward the dashboard mic. "I’m on my way to you now. Are you ready or am I gonna have to wait for you to finish one last drill?"
"Girl, you know I’m always ready for the link-up," KK laughed on the other end. "I'm just finishing up some light work. Move fast though, because I'm starving and we have a lot to talk about!"
"Say less, I'm five minutes out," Azzi replied with a grin, glancing at the vlog camera to give the viewers a 'here we go' look. "See you in a bit!"
Azzi pulls up to the gym where KK is finishing up, and the camera catches KK walking out, tossing her basketball into the backseat with a huge grin.
"Finally! I thought you got lost in that meeting," KK jokes, hopping into the passenger seat and immediately checking her reflection in the visor mirror. "Hi vlog! Hope y'all are having a better morning than my legs are after those sprints."
"Stop complaining, you love the grind," Azzi laughs, pulling back into traffic. "Where are we going? I'm starving and I have to be back before Paige gets home from her practice ."
They decide on a trendy brunch spot nearby. The scene cuts to them sitting at a marble table, sun streaming through the window, with plates of avocado toast, chicken and waffles, and colorful fruit smoothies in front of them.
"Okay, look at this spread," Azzi says, panning the camera over the food. "The aesthetic is ten out of ten."
As they eat, they get into a deep "girl talk" session, blurring the line between the vlog and a private hangout. KK catches Azzi up on her latest training sessions, and Azzi fills her in on the project she and Nika are working on.
"So, is Paige still doing that 'no sugar' challenge?" KK asks, stealing a fry from Azzi’s plate.
"Girl, yes. She’s being so disciplined," Azzi says, shaking her head. "I had to hide my Starbucks cake pop earlier so she wouldn't give me that 'athlete look.' But we’re doing steak tonight, so at least I know she’ll be happy with that."
After lunch, they head to a few shops, with the camera catching clips of them trying on sunglasses and laughing at some "questionable" fashion choices they find on the racks. Azzi picks up a new candle for the house, and KK finds some new grip socks for practice.
The vlog then cuts to Azzi dropping KK back off. "Alright, that was the best mid-day break ever," Azzi says to the camera as she drives back home. "Now, I have to go prep those steaks Paige took out of the fridge and get the house ready.
Azzi walks through the front door, the golden afternoon light spilling across the hardwood floors. She sets her keys and her shopping bag from the trip with KK on the counter, immediately heading to the kitchen to get into "chef mode."
"Okay guys, we are officially back home," Azzi says, propping the camera up on the marble island so it has a perfect view of the stove. "I had the best time with KK, but now it’s time to take care of my baby. She’s been grinding at the facility all day, so I want this house smelling like a five-star restaurant when she walks in."
She walks over to the sink, rolling up her white sleeves and thoroughly washing her hands. "First things first: hygiene," she says with a wink to the lens.
She spots the steaks Paige pulled out of the fridge earlier, now perfectly thawed and sitting on the counter. "Shoutout to Paige for remembering the steaks. She’s learning!" Azzi giggles. She begins by patting the meat dry with paper towels "The secret to a good sear," she explains to the vlog before reaching for her sea salt, cracked black pepper, and garlic powder.
The kitchen quickly fills with the rhythmic sounds of cooking: the sharp clack-clack of her knife as she trims the ends off fresh asparagus, and the heavy sizzle as the seasoned steaks hit the hot cast-iron skillet.
"I'm going to do a garlic butter baste with some fresh rosemary," she tells the camera, tilting the pan so the bubbling butter coats the meat. "The smell is literally insane right now. If this doesn't make her forget about a hard practice, I don't know what will."
As the steaks rest, she starts on the mashed potatoes, mashing them until they're perfectly creamy. She glances at the clock on the stove—it’s getting close to the time Paige usually finishes up.
"Everything is almost ready," Azzi whispers, looking toward the front door. "Now we just wait for Pagie to get home."She fans out the vibrant green asparagus stalks to the side and adds a generous, velvety scoop of garlic mashed potatoes, topping them with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a final drizzle of the herb-infused butter from the pan.
"Presentation is everything, guys," she whispers to the vlog camera, tilting the plate so the overhead kitchen lights catch the glisten of the steak's crust. "If it doesn't look like a five-star meal, did I even cook it?"
Satisfied with the spread, she pulls out her iPhone, switching the camera settings to Cinematic Mode. She wipes the lens for a crisp shot and begins a slow, steady pan over the dinner: the steam rising from the potatoes, the perfectly medium-pink center of the sliced steak, and the condensation on two chilled glasses of sparkling water in the background.
She opens Instagram, selects the most aesthetic clip, and adds a soft, lo-fi R&B track that matches the evening's "winding down" energy. With practiced ease, she taps out the caption in a clean, white font
“A day in the life with us 🥩🌿✨ Subscribe to the channel for the full vlog dropping soon! Link in bio.”
She hits 'Share' just as the sound of a heavy key turning in the lock echoes through the foyer. Max immediately perks up, his tail thumping against the floor in a frantic rhythm of excitement.
"She's home!" Azzi says, quickly setting her phone down and smoothing out her white tee. She catches her reflection in the microwave door one last time, checking her curls. "I’m gonna go surprise her at the door. I’ll catch up with y’all once we’re settled, but I think the mission for today was definitely a success."
She reaches out and clicks the vlog camera off just as the front door swings open, the silhouette of a tired but smiling Paige appearing in the entryway. The day was long, the work was hard, but the homecoming was exactly what they both needed.
The front door thuds shut, and the heavy sound of Paige dropping her gym bag on the floor echoes through the hallway. Max is already at her feet, doing his "welcome home" dance, and Paige reaches down with a tired chuckle to ruffle his ears.
"Something smells like heaven in here," Paige’s voice drifts into the kitchen, deeper and raspier than it was this morning after hours of shouting plays and running drills.
Azzi leans against the kitchen island, crossing her arms with a proud smirk as Paige rounds the corner. Paige is still in her team gear, a light sheen of sweat on her forehead and her hair pulled back tight, but the second she sees the spread on the table—and Azzi standing there looking fresh—her entire posture relaxes.
"You really outdid yourself, babe," Paige says, walking straight to Azzi and pulling her into a firm, lingering hug. She smells like the gym and hard work, a sharp contrast to the garlic butter and rosemary in the air. She presses a tired kiss to Azzi’s forehead. "I was dreaming about a good meal during that last film session."
"I told you I had you," Azzi whispers, squeezing her back before pulling away to point at the plates. "Wash your hands, superstar. Everything is hot and ready. How was practice? Did Coach give y'all a hard time?"
"Standard grind," Paige says, heading to the sink to scrub up. "A lot of running, a lot of defensive rotations. I'm feeling it in my legs for sure, but we're locked in for the next game."
They sit down together, the overhead pendant lights casting a warm, intimate glow over the table. Azzi picks up the vlog camera one last time, aiming it at Paige as she takes her first bite of the steak.
"Final verdict?" Azzi asks the camera, then looks at Paige. "On a scale of one to ten, how did your girl do?"
Paige closes her eyes, chewing slowly as a look of pure relief crosses her face. She points a fork at Azzi, nodding aggressively. "Eleven. Easy. Best meal I've had all week."
Azzi beams at the lens. "You heard it here first, guys! The athlete is satisfied. We’re gonna put the camera away now and actually enjoy our night, but thank you so much for hanging out with us today. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more of our chaos."
"Bye guys," Paige adds with a mouthful of mashed potatoes, waving a hand at the camera.
Azzi reaches out and taps the screen, the "Day in the Life" officially coming to an end as the red recording light blinks out, leaving just the two of them to finish their dinner in the quiet of their home.
The end
