Question for all!

So I’ve played through Dragon Age: Inquisition--we’ll call it a few times, messing with the Dragon Age Keep so that the backstory is different too. And the first times I’ve played it Cullen says ‘Our only choice is how we end this.” at Haven’s destruction etc as far as I remember. But this time he said “Our only choice is how spitefully we end this.” Am I insane? Or does anyone know why that might change? I’m gonna feel dumb if I’m just misremembering?
