regular hot tea (spock) vs sweet iced tea (bones)

bones keeps calling spock homophobic and spock keeps saying “i assure you, doctor: i am gay” and bones always responds “you’re not denying it” and spock always goes on a long tirade about how being both homophobic and gay is illogical

spock keeps a list of strange contractions bones uses (once bones said “y’all’d’n’t’ve” and spock’s brain almost short circuited trying to decipher it)

Random headcanon #33

A drunk Bones can be really affectionate. Spock didn't know that. Well to be honest, Scotty and Jim were the ones seeing Leonard drunk or at least buzzed the most.

Anyways, everybody can now be sure that the doctor in fact likes the half Vulcan. A lot.

Leonard called him "dear friend" or even a muttered "darlin'" could be heard as Bones hugged him.

But of course that wasn't the only way Leonard touched Spock. An arm thrown over his shoulder, lightly nuzzling Spock's neck,kissing his cheek and stroking his hair,intending to mess it up a bit.

The half Vulcan didn't know how to deal with this. It was the first time people heard him stutter.

Jim,who recorded the whole thing,also wasn't a big help.

Post Plato’s Stepchildren, Spock is unable to lock his emotions away.  He can’t meditate, he can’t regain that Vulcan control.  He does his best to hide his struggles behind a stoic facade.

McCoy isn’t fooled.  And he is determined to help Spock regain what has been lost.

Bones lofts an eyebrow, looking unimpressed with the question, "... I honestly can't say I know how to go about freaking Spock out... He's the most impassive person I've ever met. Jim does a far better job of pushing his buttons..." 

Smirking, the Doctor shrugs, "There was this one time, though... Spock stopped by Med Bay right around the time a Vilix'pran Lieutenant was, ah, Budding..." Bones's smirk broadens into a grin, perhaps a little too delighted by the memory "...I guess he'd never seen a male give birth to fourteen hatchlings before..."
