LIVE: President Trump’s Congressional Address needs a response. Here’s mine.
Pump up the jam
There is a lot of very understandable pessimism right now but really we don't need it. Like yes, Republicans winning massively sucks you're right to be upset about it. Take a moment to process. But doomerism about how "its all over" "this is the end of history" "we're all gonna die" is not helping anything or anyone. The thing that will seal that fate is the attitude that nothing can be done. Dont seal it.
Many people fear dictatorship. Very possible but if we're lucky it won't come to pass. Regardless. The answer isn't to lay down and cry, its to use the resources you have no to identify and connect with like minded people in real life so that if our technology gets taken away you have a community to organize with and keep your sanity in. Make connections beyond the internet so that if that gets cut you still have connections.

It's not over until it's over. Don't lie down while there's work to do. Keep your head and your hope about you and push forward.
In scary times, we need all the light we can get... happy holidays and stay safe, loves!
i was put on this earth to be kind to others so despite every weary and terrible awful day i have ever gone through and will go through i will do that no matter what.
I believe in the concept of "paying it forward" [basically the opposite concept of "hurt people hurt people" if someone's kind to you for no reason than you can be kind to someone else for no reason.]
and money is probably one of the worst things to exist since it dictates everyone's lives in terrible ways. And they say money can't buy you happiness but ignoring that phrase forever it can definitely buy you peace. if nothing else money can almost always buy you a little relief for those that really need it and know the value of a buck.
spread a little kindness and donate to this gofundme ?
or look at this > link tree < of gofundmes, it's short but the family these people are connected to each other by is bigger. donating to any of them gives a little bit of relief no matter what.
April is National Hope Month
I had wanted to host some kind of hope-filled participation driven event whether with self-care activities and/or creative events, but I don't have it in me right now. I'm just taking things one day at a time. But anyway... please enjoy these infographics.
Included: benefits of hope, ideas to boost your hope, ways to spread hope to others, and some creative prompts to show your characters having hope
