This was the first ever cross stitch pattern I designed back in 2021, and you know what? I still love it as much as I did back then and still have it displayed in my pink craft room. I feel my designs have come a long way since then, but sometimes something simple can be so effective (and so pretty!) 😇🎀🌷✨

So here is my finished yellow flower - the pattern of which I copied from the top of a pin cushion design.

The Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides), with its striking sky-blue feathers and delicate form, is a bird that has inspired cultures, poets, and artists for centuries. Found in the open landscapes of North America, this bird is often associated with happiness, freedom, and renewal.
When ice is thawed and snow is gone,
And racy sweetness floods the trees;
When snow-birds from the hedge have flown,
And on the hive-porch swarm the bees,
Drifting down the first warm wind
That thrills the earliest days of spring,
The bluebird seeks our maple groves,
And charms them into tasselling.
