#it was my favourite kind of late winter/pre spring day today #rained all morning then overcast and chilly but not cold #perfect to go to the creek and look at moss and lichens #on first glance things look still dead but there's mud and birds and tiny flowers #hazels and willows starting to bloom #spring is so close #scrapbook

There is a cardinal somewhere outside my window screaming his head off. He’s going CHEER! CHEER! CHEER! And WEEK, WEEK, WEEKWEEKWEEKWEEKWEEK. My favorite is when he says PURDY PURDY PURDY PURDY. All at the top of his lungs. Very impressive. I have been listening to him for the last ten minutes or so instead of showering and getting ready for work which is what I should be doing.
